Investing in your mental health is a courageous decision that carries emotional weight. I want to support you on your journey. I provide compassionate, socioculturally informed, and personalized mental health care, including psychotherapy and medication management. I believe in a collaborative approach to care, offering a space for self-reflection, vulnerability, and building insight. I nurture a warm, supportive, nonjudgmental space for you to share your story, and for us to work together toward your goals.
I am a Harvard-trained, board-certified adult psychiatrist, with specialized experience in areas related to race; gender; sociocultural issues, including immigration and stress from navigating cultures and cultural expectations; mood disorders like anxiety, depression, and panic disorders; trauma and grief; chronic pain and illness; women’s health.
On a personal level, I am a child of immigrants and a person of color. I bring these identities into providing culturally informed care with an authentic approach. I have a deep appreciation for the complexities of human nature, and humility for all that we will learn in our work together.
