Jamie Burke
Sometimes we face challenges that seem insurmountable, leaving us feeling stuck and hopeless. Therapy can provide the support necessary to overcome hardship and help us take steps toward happiness and fulfillment. As your therapist, I believe that you have the resiliency required to overcome life's toughest challenges. No one should have to trudge alone through trying times. I look forward to walking with you on your journey!
I specialize in grief and loss counseling, but also help individuals cope with and manage depression, anxiety, mood swings, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I use a variety of creative trauma-informed techniques to tap into your innate strengths, develop solutions, and make moves toward the summit of well-being.
My main clientele are teens and young adults, and I truly enjoy working with these populations! Along with traditional talk therapy I use art, play, visual journaling, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients get "unstuck" and feel in charge of their emotions and their lives.
