Jay Yeong-Tae Gomez
A therapist with Willamette Valley Behavioral Health.
Sometimes we receive messages in life that make us feel different and isolated. Counseling can be a path to restoring connection to self and others. I love to support children, adolescents, and emerging adults with neurodivergence, disabilities, and those part of the LGBTQIA+ community. My aim with clients is to develop sustainable ways to foster emotional capacity through play and creativity. When in session, this can provide a centering activity where people can open up in a natural way, creating an avenue for genuine connection. I readily honor and incorporate the nuances of people’s cultural and spiritual perspectives.
Willamette Valley Behavioral Health offers sliding scale and self-pay in addition to accepting many insurances.
