Kadian Brown (Sol Health)
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor E. Frankl
One of the greatest gifts we can grant ourselves is the gift of inner peace. While we may not have control over our environment, situations, or the actions of others, we do have the power to control our thoughts, beliefs, and actions. As a therapist-in-training, I am dedicated to helping clients identify and understand the connections between their thoughts, beliefs, actions, and the decisions that shape their daily experiences.
My goal is to help you turn life's lemons into lemonade. We all encounter challenging experiences, and I understand the importance of having a robust support system, combined with the right resources, time, and commitment. My aim is to ensure you feel safe, understood, validated, empowered, and supported throughout our sessions. Together, we will explore various therapeutic interventions to identify the best fit for your individual situation.
I am currently a second-year graduate student at UMGC/Salisbury-Global Campus, pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work. My experience includes working with wounded warriors and NATO allies stationed overseas, addressing issues such as depression, PTSD, anxiety, substance abuse, separation anxiety, and identity struggles.
