Ministry of Counseling and Enrichment
Provider Types
This is a clinic or agency with multiple providers, including:
- Licensed Professional Counselors
I have a master's degree in family psychology and I am a licensed professional counselor supervisor in the state of Texas. I have had experience working with families, children, teens and adults individually in a variety of settings; community mental health, schools and home-based treatment for over 17 years. I have the most experience working with depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflicts, parenting issues, life transitions, and trauma/abuse. I also have experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mild autism.
I use a person-centered and integrative approach in treatment. This means I begin where you are and tailor the treatment approach to your needs while being sensitive to how your individual cultural identities and lifestyle choices impact your experience. I primarily use evidence based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and solution-focused counseling.
I would describe my style as warm and supportive, and I am ready to help you tackle your struggle head-on. Collaboration and consistency are important - together we can work on establishing goals and steps for you to help overcome your current problems.
I look forward to helping you be the best you can be!
