Layne Filio
Hi! I'm Layne! I hope to provide a comfortable and affirming environment for my clients to grow and learn about themselves. I like to provide an integrative approach when it comes to therapy. Meaning, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help you reach your goals. I try and individualize the approach to the client's needs.
With extensive experience, I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Insight-Oriented Therapy to address a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related symptoms.
Below are different techniques I utilize to treat these diagnoses/symptoms. Depression: Uncover root causes of the depression, develop strategies to alleviate symptoms, find joy. Anxiety: Master CBT, regain control, face challenges boldly. ADHD: CBT strategies for focus, organization, and function. Trauma: DBT skills, safe processing, gradual healing.
I hope to help my clients find new ways to look at the challenges they face. I emphasize a positive mindset while also understanding and validating negative thought patterns. My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I believe in the importance of building a trusting therapeutic alliance, ensuring you feel supported.
I can be flexible with the times available, so please reach out even if the times listed to not match your availability.
