Mary Gonzales

I am currently providing teletherapy for clients anywhere in Michigan. As a clinician, I focus on each individual and enjoy pulling out their strengths. I have experience working with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, poverty, housing crisis, parenting struggles, and trauma. I am easygoing and enjoy listening to others, solving problems, and pushing forward by taking things one step at a time. I strive to be welcoming, patient, and I listen to understand. I am passionate about building relationships and to be a support person in your corner.

It is a courageous step when a person chooses to open up and an honor to join their life journey. I am here to walk alongside children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression and anxiety. My therapy style is all about meeting you where you are. We will start by getting to know each other and building a therapeutic relationship.

I will bring a calm presence along with a positive energy. I enjoy working with kids through play therapy. With adolescents and adults I am all about being solution focused and finding new ways to build on coping skills that can be used long term.
