Melanie Parks has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the psychiatric and nursing fields and has been trained in both medication management and talk therapy and has an abundance of experience treating patients with depression and anxiety. She earned her Bachelor’s in nursing (BSN) at Husson University, Master’s in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, FNP) degree from Radford University and Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Case Western Reserve University. She earned a post graduate Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from Johns Hopkins University and is a dually board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Melanie has considerable experience treating patients in various settings as well as treating patients of all ages. Her therapeutic treatment goals are to provide the best mental health care possible through a holistic approach. Melanie believes that superior care is developed by having an attitude of caring and empathy while listening to patients during times of need.
