Pain can quietly shape the life you live, and college can bring its own mix of stress, pressure, and uncertainty. Many students come to me carrying anxiety, sadness, self-doubt, harsh inner critics, grief, relationship struggles, or the lingering echoes of the past. Inside, something may feel unsettled, lonely, or heavy. We are wired for connection, yet old patterns, self-doubt, and past experiences can shape how we relate to others and to ourselves, making closeness—or even asking for help—feel difficult. Beneath it all lies a rich inner world of thoughts, feelings, and longings that hasn’t yet had a safe space to be fully known.

Therapy offers a place to slow down and attend to that inner world. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, our work explores the emotional and relational patterns that shape how you experience yourself and others. With steady, collaborative attention, what once felt fixed can begin to soften, opening the way to new understanding, relief, and connection.

I offer in-person sessions in Hayes Valley, creating a space where you don’t have to perform or appear “okay.” The parts of you that feel uncertain, self-critical, or conflicted are welcome here. Through sustained and attuned work, greater clarity, self-compassion, and freedom become possible, helping you feel more grounded, connected, and capable of navigating the challenges of college life and beyond.
