Paulina Shilevsky, LMSW
College and the years around it can stir up a lot. Anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, questions around substance use, and sometimes experiences that are genuinely hard to carry alone. If any of that feels familiar, you've found someone who understands.
I work with adults and young adults, and I believe most of what brings people to therapy makes sense once we understand the story behind it. Many of the patterns causing you pain today were once the ways you learned to survive. My style is warm, compassionate, and direct, and I'll meet you with acceptance rather than judgment. A significant part of my work has involved supporting people through addiction and recovery, alongside trauma, attachment, and the search for identity.
My approach draws on psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed perspectives, with attention to both mind and body. We'll move at your pace, and telehealth makes it easy to fit therapy around a full schedule. Whatever you're facing, you won't face it alone.
