My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing style of therapy. The most important predictor of success in therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. It is that the client feels the therapist cares about them. We call this the “therapeutic alliance”.
I specialize in the areas of body image, couples counseling, perfectionism, addiction, and mood disorders. I offer Christian counseling if a client would like it.
I utilize CBT, Motivational Interviewing, art therapy, DBT, all with a warm, compassionate approach.
