Tabitha Cantu Counseling PLLC
Hi, I’m Tabitha Cantu, MSW, LCSW, and I provide virtual therapy to women in university as I understand the challenges college can bring. Many of the women I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, boundaries, life transitions, relationship challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and the pressures of school, work, and everyday life. As a Hispanic woman who has lived and worked in different states across the U.S., I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and communities. These experiences have broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the unique culture, communities, and challenges individuals face, and shaped the compassionate, culturally responsive approach I bring to therapy.
I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful change.
Whether you’re adjusting to college life, managing academic stress, working through relationship concerns, or seeking greater confidence and balance, therapy can provide a space to explore challenges and develop practical tools for growth. I currently offer virtual therapy sessions throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Florida.
