I am a Harvard-trained, Harvard-affiliated, board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. I strongly believe that the best psychiatric care is centered on the whole person, not just on a diagnosis or a specific medication. I provide weekly therapy and work with patients to determine if medications can be of help. I do not believe that everyone needs a medication, but they can be useful in treating particular psychiatric symptoms; I will work with you in order to find the best treatment modality that meets your goals and needs. My training in psychotherapy includes psychodynamic psychotherapy, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Exposure/Response Prevention (Ex/RP) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I provide psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. In order to offer comprehensive treatment, I do not accept insurance in my private practice. I am currently conducting sessions via telemedicine only. Please feel free to send me an email to set up a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so I can answer any questions and see if I can be of help.
I am inspired to work in the field of mental health because I want to offer support and strategies during a challenging time. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help. I want to work with you to improve your circumstances. I work on being nonjudgmental so that you feel comfortable and safe enough to share your experiences with me. I welcome feedback so I can continue to offer more of what might be needed so that I can best support you. I want to meet you where you are at and pace our work together. I respect all parts of your experience and want to make sure that you feel empowered to speak up if you ever feel worried about your care.
Hi There! I'm Monica. Sometimes life feels hard—even when everything looks fine on the outside. You might be dealing with anxiety, worry, stress, depression, loss, grief, or self-doubt and wondering how to find your way back to feeling like yourself again. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing. With over 30 years of counseling experience, I help clients learn practical coping skills, manage difficult emotions, navigate life transitions, and build confidence from the inside out. While I welcome anyone seeking support, my heart is in working with women, especially those facing challenging life transitions or feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Reaching out for counseling takes courage. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d love to connect with you.
I'm a licensed therapist who works with children, teenagers, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges (including ADHD, oppositional defiant behaviors, and self-harm), school-related difficulties, self-esteem concerns, stress, substance use, relationship issues, trauma/PTSD, and major life transitions. I help clients strengthen their ability to cope with mental health symptoms and life stressors so they can reconnect with their strengths, move toward healing, and become the best version of themselves. I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs, recognizing that no two healing journeys look the same. My practice is shaped by my background as a former teacher and current school psychologist, where I merged my love for education with my passion for mental health. This experience allows me to bring a trauma-informed, person-centered lens to my work. I am trained in Brainspotting, a powerful modality that helps process trauma and supports emotional regulation. I am deeply passionate about helping others find hope that moves beyond an abstract idea and becomes something tangible and actionable. I believe lasting change is possible when individuals have access to a safe space, compassionate support, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
I am licensed in both California (118887) and Pennsylvania (MF001617). I have been in practice for eight years and specialize in emerging and young adults, ages 15-30. I have extensive clinical and research experience helping clients work through body image issues and disordered eating patterns, as well as depression and anxieties associated with life events and transitions. I also have additional training in substance use and abuse treatment in young adults. Using the most recent research in the field of neuroscience, you will learn how to reshape your brain to better align with your goals. My role is to help you restructure unhelpful thought and behavior patterns to strengthen your sense of autonomy, agency, and resiliency. I exclusively offer telehealth services to best accommodate your needs and availability.
Hi, I'm Katerina from Fire Poppy Therapy! I understand that we can't just "find 5 blue objects around me" to be able to deal with life's stressors, so let's work together to find some practical ways to process, cope, and thrive in the spaces you're in. I aim to make the therapy experience authentic and validating for those I work with. Believe it or not, you do know and have intuition of what's best for you, so we'll spend our time working to get the echoes of naysayers out of your head and amplifying the encouragement from yourself and others. The approach I take with our sessions is a more relaxed style and I use a variety of techniques to inform how I support you. I value practical self care and coping strategies, honoring your roots, and empowering my clients with knowledge about how their body and brain work. I also like to balance humor with reflection, encouragement with accountability. Check out my website for more info and/or send me an email if you'd like to set up a complimentary 15 minute Zoom meet-n-greet. Whether we work together or not, I hope you find what you need. [**side note for any clarification purposes] I'm firmly supportive of the following Communities in alpha order: Armenian, Congolese, Haitian, NHAAPI, Neurodiverse, Palestinian, PGM (People of the Global Majority), Pro-Liberation, Queer, Sudanese, SWANA.

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist supporting people doing their best to hold things together while life feels heavier or more complicated than they expected. Many of my clients are thoughtful, caring adults and teens who appear steady on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or tired of being the strong one on the inside. I offer a warm, grounded space where we slow things down, make sense of the quiet struggles that don’t always get spoken aloud, and rebuild a sense of clarity, steadiness, and choice.
Hello, and welcome! I specialize in working with individuals, complex relationship issues (sexual dysfunction, intimacy, infidelity), and the impacts of Narcissistic Personality Disorder on relationships. I work closely with individuals struggling with different forms of mental disorders and help my clients forge a new path forward toward healing and wholeness. My passion is in therapy, and I am humbled and grateful when people invite me to play a meaningful role in their lives. I view relationships as the source of people's greatest joys and pains. I want all clients to have the experience of being treated with honesty, respect, and care. Trust in the therapeutic alliance is of the upmost importance to me, and I will always do my best to establish a setting you feel comfortable sharing your most vulnerable moments. Through passionate discussion, we can begin by making the first steps toward positive change and chart a new path of hope for your life. I believe that therapy should be emotional, creative, lively, and intense, and I promise to bring my full heart to the relationship we build.
I was inspired to become a therapist by a deep belief in the human capacity for transformation. I hold hope for change even in the midst of struggle. Having walked my own journey of growth, I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable and to trust another person with your story. I honor the sacredness of the therapeutic relationship and approach it with presence, compassion, and integrity. Working together is a collaborative and evolving process. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental energy into the room. I meet each client as they are — without assumptions — and seek to understand their unique narrative. Trust is built through authenticity, attunement, and consistent care. I believe that when people feel safe and truly heard, they are better able to access their own strengths, heal old wounds, and move toward a more grounded and empowered way of living. My role is to walk alongside you — supporting self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that honors your process. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, concentrating in Mental Health, from the University of Southern California. My work is grounded in a holistic, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach that honors the whole person — mind, body, spirit, relationships, and lived experience. I believe healing is not just about reducing symptoms, but about reconnecting to one’s inner resilience, wisdom, and capacity for growth. Transformation often unfolds through connection, safety, and feeling deeply seen. I strive to create a therapeutic space that nurtures all three. My work is guided by an intersectional lens and cultural humility. I recognize that each person carries layered identities, experiences, and histories that shape how they move through the world. By honoring these complexities, I collaborate with clients to co-create meaningful, personalized treatment that aligns with their values, culture, and goals.
My practice is dedicated to working with people who are seeking emotional emancipation. They desire to claim or reclaim their lives after traumatic experiences or relational struggles that have left them feeling down, anxious, lonely, confused or scared and often don't really know how to begin to be different in the midst of all of these feelings. Working with me means exploring together the experiences that make you who you are by looking both at what your life is like today and how your past is informing that life. From this vantage, you can learn to make choices for yourself, freeing the yourself to engage in a life of your own making. I offer a free consultation and my fee is $300.
My name is Yams (he/him), or formally Kameryn Rose, and I am a Black, agender, and queer-identified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Kameryn Rose Therapy, aka Rose Therapy, is a virtual private practice specializing in providing culturally-informed and affirming care to Queer and BIPOC students and community builders across California. My approach is collaborative, direct, and conversational—focusing on unmasking, setting boundaries, and reclaiming your narrative from stressful or oppressive systems.
Hi! We are compassionate about helping young adults with life transitions. Change is hard and stressful. Managing classes, work and a social life can be a real challenge. Life transitions and change leave us feeling anxious/depressed...and struggling to feel ourselves. We are here to help you find balance again.
Hi! My name is Dr. Ben Ross, & I’m a clinical psychologist (PSY32948). I practice individual and couple psychotherapy in Orange County, CA. I work with people 14+ struggling with a range of difficulties including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, phase of life issues, relationship concerns, mood instability, individuation and identity formation, and personality disturbances. I'm also interested in supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, artists and creatives, musicians struggling with music performance anxiety, and young adults forging their path in life. I strive to foster a relational therapeutic environment in which my patients have an outlet to express parts of their mind that they have not yet put to words. Expression of these inner thoughts and feelings can facilitate relief from stress that can otherwise manifest in painful psychological and physiological symptoms. This process can make way for meaningful transformations to occur.
Many of the students I work with are the people others assume are "doing fine" because they're successful, responsible, and high-achieving. On the inside, though, they may be struggling with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, self-doubt, or feeling like they have to hide parts of themselves to fit in. I also work with students who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, family stress, or discovering they may be neurodivergent later in life. Together, we'll work to better understand what's been keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and help you create a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and sustainable. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and never judged.
Hello there, Feeling stuck? Feeling stressed out about all the things that are competing for your attention? Wanting to change your relationship with yourself, so you can spread your wings and soar? I'm Stefan (he/him) and I want to be there on your journey. Starting therapy can feel scary, even if you've been in therapy before! To lower that intensity a bit, I want you to give you an idea of how I show up to sessions: - I get to know you - your family, friends, hobbies, shows, loves, fears, passions. - I celebrate and hype you up when you do the hard thing. - I ask questions to get you curious about patterns in your life, and point out when you might not be aware of them. - I offer compassion when your mind creates judgments about yourself. - I welcome and ask for feedback, knowing some things will land and others will not. - I laugh with you and value humor. - I tear up when you feel hurt or uncover a tender spot (while also holding space for you to feel). - I'll tell you I'm proud of you. - I nerd out about mental health, skills, approaches, and explain concepts in a way you'll understand. - I slow down and speed up based on your cues, and I give you choice in how we go about sessions. - I'm always working on our relationship, so there's trust and security when we get to difficult things. - I acknowledge the bigger systems of oppression that affect your life and lives of your loved ones. - I'm active and dynamic in sessions - sometimes asking questions, leading an activity, listening and reflecting, interrupting to highlight something you said, and synthesizing information and summarizing it back to you. All of this "I" is the effort I put into helping you get to "you": what you want, what you care about, your goals, dreams, your emotions, stressors, internal talk, and who you want to become and how you want to show up in life. Specialties: queer and trans identities and lived experiences, anxiety and depression, perfectionism, substance use, navigating family dynamics, healing trauma, couples and relationship work, career discernment Approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR; trauma approach), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method (for relationship work), mindfulness and somatic interventions I'm an associate counselor, seeing clients through telehealth in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California. I am inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and the profound potential for growth and healing within everyone. Witnessing clients navigate challenges, uncover their strengths, and achieve breakthroughs is deeply fulfilling. The ability to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals as they reclaim their lives and well-being drives my passion for this field. I’m also drawn to the ever-evolving nature of mental health care, where continuous learning and innovation allow me to grow alongside my clients. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly. Active listening is at the core of my practice—I strive to fully understand their experiences by reflecting, validating their emotions, and asking thoughtful questions. I also adapt my communication style to each client’s unique needs, ensuring they feel respected and seen. By fostering empathy and tailoring interventions to their individual stories, I make it clear that their voice and perspective are central to the therapeutic process. Trust is built through consistency, authenticity, and mutual respect. I show up as a genuine, compassionate presence, balancing professionalism with warmth and relatability. I also collaborate with clients, empowering them to take an active role in their therapy. By being transparent about the therapeutic process and celebrating their progress, I foster a sense of partnership. Over time, these elements come together to create a strong, trusting alliance that supports meaningful growth and healing.
I provide individual and family therapy to adults and teenagers navigating relational challenges, life transitions, anxiety and depression. I also have extensive background working with neurodivergent people (ADHD and Autism Spectrum). I am passionate about helping individuals as they navigate life adjustments, such as starting a new job, leaving home, becoming a parent or processing a change in a relationship. I value creating a safe, open, and authentic space for people to learn more about themselves. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative and relational. I believe that our experiences throughout our lives impact the way that we see ourselves and our relationships. From this perspective, I work with clients to explore how their life experiences have impacted them. I know that it is difficult to choose a therapist. If you are curious about what it would be like to work with me, please feel free to reach out to set up a phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
From the first time we meet to the end of our work together, you can expect a holistic focus on you and what has brought you into therapy as well as, a focus on what you want to get out of therapy. There will be both warmth and directness focused on finding what you would like to see change for yourself and how we can get there. Whether it's in person as your therapist in Fresno, Ca, or as your online therapist in California, we'll work together to see that the person you’ve been fighting so hard to find has been there all along — underneath the overwhelm, beneath the guilt, still waiting to come up for air.
