Hi there! I’m Alex Boyce, a Licensed Professional Counselor—and I’m a firm believer that therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly serious. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from CU Denver in 2015, and I specialize in helping college students and young adults work through the challenges that come with this stage of life—things like anxiety (including that relentless “what if” spiral), stress, perfectionism, OCD, trauma, burnout, emotional ups and downs, and feeling lost or stuck. If your brain ever feels like it’s constantly running in the background or your emotions are all over the place, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place. I’m trained in EMDR Therapy for trauma, as well as Exposure and Response Prevention and Inference-Based CBT for OCD and anxiety. Those terms might sound complicated, but I’ll break them down into real, understandable steps that actually help you make sense of what’s going on. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in trust—with plenty of psychoeducation so you can understand why your mind reacts the way it does. Our first sessions are about connection and understanding what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, we’ll make a plan that fits your goals—without judgment or pressure. What makes my practice a little different? I mix evidence-based therapy with genuine humor, empathy, and real talk. I’ve spent over a decade helping people move from survival mode to self-acceptance and confidence, and I’ll be there with you through it all—whether that means sitting in the hard stuff, celebrating wins, or laughing about the weird tricks anxiety plays on us. Outside of work, I recharge by doing yoga, hiking Colorado’s trails, paddleboarding, and catching live music when I can. If you’re ready to start feeling more like yourself—or figure out who that is—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or however your distress manifests makes us feel trapped, in cycles of outbursts or avoidance, and coping in ways that are not sustainable. We blame ourselves bringing us further from feeling connected and closer to feeling ashamed. Typically what we see on the surface is mistaken for ourself and is our way to cope with the issues that lie underneath. Therapy is creating a compassionate and purposeful environment to dive into deeper issues, seeing how these issues present in daily life, and developing relevant skills to free ourselves from these issues. I utilize a psychodynamic, relational, and an EMDR based framework to help you dive inward to find underlying issues. I use mindfulness meditation based practices to help my clients build evidence based skills to move through their issues and into inner strength. My integrative approach is here to help you find practical application in daily life. We can begin on a path aiming at feeling present and competent in daily life, building a flow with your emotional experiences, and towards feelings of wholeness in life. Click email or call to get in touch and visit my website for more information. I'll find a time that works for you to get you started soon.
College should be about growth, not just survival. If you're struggling with unpredictable mood swings, overwhelming worry, lots of sadness, or using substances to cope, or climate anxiety, I'm here for you. I work best with students who experience intense emotional ups and downs, find themselves caught in cycles of productivity followed by inability to function, or use alcohol or other substances to manage difficult feelings and thoughts, or those who are preoccupied with climate-related grief or anxiety. I offer a space where you don't need to hide your challenges or pretend to have it all together. We'll focus on getting to know each other, creating a safe space to open up, and increasing coping strategies, such as recognizing early warning signs, building supportive routines, navigating academic pressures, developing genuine connections without relying on substances, and handling the climate crisis with more ease. Whether you're facing mood swings, anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, climate distress, or all of these, there's a path forward. Reach out today to take the first step towards change, growth and stability.

As a licensed psychologist, I provide therapy services across the lifespan. Viewing my role in clients' lives as a privilege, I approach my work with warmth, candor, and a genuine belief in one's potential for growth. A bit about my approach to therapy: Our difficulties often stem from longstanding patterns of relating to ourselves and others that are no longer serving us. Through greater awareness of these patterns and our internal emotional world, we are better able to cope and connect. I enjoy partnering with client's to explore both the past and present, with the hope of creating a better future. What you can expect from our first session: In our sessions, you can expect a welcoming and empathetic environment. We will start with an introductory session to determine fit. From there, we will dive into your story. I aim for our time to be collaborative, with us both taking active roles in the work. Schedule a session: https://corcoranpsych.sessionshealth.com/

Life sometimes places us in situations that we feel we may not be able to handle alone. As your therapist it would be my honor to join you in navigating the challenges you face. I see each client as a whole person rather than as a collection of symptoms and work with you to understand how you got to where you are and how to get to where you’d like to be. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ related issues, Anxiety, OCD, GAD, Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder, ADHD, ASD, and Depression. I am also currently accepting clients in search of Pre-Surgical Evaluation for Gender Affirming Surgery (GAS) Regardless of your presenting concern, I approach therapy as a collaboration that allows us each to share our expertise; mine in psychological theory and your expertise in yourself and your unique needs. This philosophy shapes our therapy space as we determine what type of environment works best for you, whether that be more structured or free-flowing. Sessions may range from activities that target specific behaviors to more broad discussions about your overall life and sense of self to help us better understand your experience. It is my firmest belief that everyone is capable of change. My role is to help you explore what that looks like for you and to help you to live a happier and more fulfilled life.

It’s understandable and normal that we might need help working through life’s challenges. It’s my goal to offer support and compassion as you navigate these challenges in hopes of creating a better and deeper understanding of yourself. My specialties include college-aged women and post-college twenty-somethings entering the workforce. Women and young adults face unique experiences and I'm passionate about helping navigate them. Family systems therapy and attachment theory are the pillars of my work. I also use a trauma informed approach, person-centered therapy, and CBT. I approach my work with curiosity, humility, and humor (sometimes we just need to laugh a little). My goal is to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe and empowered to express your thoughts and feelings. Through a collaborative approach, I strive to create a compassionate and sincere therapeutic relationship.

Currently accepting both virtual and in-person clients - Hi there! My name is Lindsey. I primarily come from an attachment-based, relational approach, where what matters most is genuine, authentic connection. A story well told is my favorite piece of the human experience. We all have stories full of what happens to us that is outside of our control as well as how we respond to these experiences that is within our control. As your therapist, my hope is to empower you to become the author of your own story and provide you with the support, guidance, and resources you need to pick up the pen and decide where you're going next. I particularly specialize in: ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders. I also work with those struggling with their relationships and/or challenges coming up in life (including but not limited to: school, work, navigating 20s and/or 30s, interpersonal struggles, dating, family dynamics, life stressors, identity development, and values work). I find it to truly be an honor and privilege to be right beside you as you navigate whatever challenges life throws at you. Reaching out for support can be a difficult step, and you are brave for how far you've already come. Feel free to send me a message on here or schedule your own phone consult on my website!
