I have a wide range of experience working with individuals. I primarily focus on helping clients understand how experiences in their life have influenced their beliefs, behaviors, emotions and relationships. I think this helps clients understand what action they need to take to feel connected to themselves and others. If I can be helpful in deepening your relationships with others and self please give me a call. I have been a therapist for 15 years. I have worked in the field of addiction for 6 years. I work with individuals processing, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and navigating life transitions. Therapy is helpful and daunting. I remember when I first went to therapy I felt uncomfortable, embarrassed, and scared. I also wanted something to be different in my life. Things did change and I felt better. I believe you can have the same experience and I can offer you a compassionate, experienced, presence that will help you find the change you want.
You deserve to live a life on your terms. Sometimes this can seem impossible when experiencing anxiety, depression or low self esteem. You feel stuck. This can make it difficult to make decisions about who you want to be or how to get to where you want to go. My belief is that counseling is an opportunity to gain a deeper sense of personal meaning and allow for more self-understanding, which can help to reduce these intense emotions as well as helping to clarify what you want out of life. My approach is interactive; together we create a space where you are seen, heard, and understood. It is in this space that I will not only listen to your story but also be assessing how your body is reacting to the events in your life. I use mindfulness, cognitive work and EMDR in session, all practices that will help you to learn how to regulate yourself better and ultimately allow for healing from past traumatic or uncomfortable experiences.
I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate identity, especially when you’re facing external pressures or complicated family dynamics. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself, explore your experiences, and feel seen and supported. Whether you're coming out, grappling with internalized struggles, or just trying to find your place in the world, I’m here to help you build confidence, resilience, and live authentically—on your own terms.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Niyama Integrative Therapy. I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and complex relational patterns. Many of the clients I work with are capable and high-functioning on the outside, while internally carrying chronic stress, unresolved trauma, or emotional exhaustion. You may be navigating burnout, relationship strain, identity shifts, or long-standing family dynamics that still shape how you move through the world.

A lot of people say they knew at a young age they would be a therapist, but that wasn’t me. I grew up in a military family and thought I would continue that tradition and be a stay-at-home mom. Instead, I found myself in a journalism career and a marriage I didn’t like. Starting over after 30, I chose to return to school and pursue a degree in social work. Since then, I’ve worked with the military, in inpatient facilities, and in outpatient care. I love working with women who find themselves “outside the box” when it comes to societal expectations (child-free/childless, unmarried, or just a-plain-ol’ rebel). I love to focus on resiliency, self-improvement/self-esteem, personal growth, and even a bit of spirituality (if that's your thing). I'm a very laid-back, nontraditional therapist. I believe you are the expert in your own life and, sometimes, we just need some guidance or permission to do the things we know we need to do. I don't assign homework cause, frankly, I wouldn't do it if I were in your shoes, but I will suggest some tasks or actions that may be something to focus on between sessions. I also expect clients to show up with a discussion topic or something to start us off with; again, the time is yours to use as you feel best. I have very eclectic interests. Two things that are very important to me are spirituality and non-traditional relationships. I feel both have their own challenges and prejudices to overcome. I'm always looking for ways to include and incorporate my client's spiritual beliefs (if they choose to share) into sessions and help them build a strong foundation. Nontraditional relationships (including kink dynamics) can be a challenge to bring to therapy as there's often a perceived level of judgment—not here! I celebrate however your relationship looks and work to help you create the most nurturing and healthy relationship however that looks. One of my core values is curiosity, so I love it when I get to learn a little something from my clients. Having grown up in a military family that moved every three years like clockwork, learning about people and cultures has been a huge part of my life. I encourage my clients to practice showing and embodying their authenticity with me so they may go out into the world more confidently. I believe we all have something beautiful to share and learn from each other and I encourage those I work with to explore that on a deeper level.
Ever feel like you're navigating through a fog when it comes to understanding your emotions, needs, or desires? Imagine a life where you truly connect with yourself and those around you, where past traumas become stepping stones to a brighter future. At Inclusive Therapy and Consulting Services LLC, we don't just offer therapy — we open doors to a transformative experience. Specializing in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, individuals living with HIV, and their allies, our mission is to bring you world-class psychotherapy that's not just compassionate but deeply tailored to your unique journey. Because everyone deserves a space where they're not just heard, but truly understood. I completed my Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, New York, in 2010. During my tenure in New York, I furthered my training with the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, emphasizing care for LGBTQ+ outpatient adults. Over the past twelve years, I've had the honor of working with a myriad of individuals and couples representing all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and diverse relationship configurations, including polyamory, consensual non-monogamy, kink, and BDSM. Before establishing my private practice, I dedicated four years as the Director of Behavioral Health, specializing in mental health care for those living with HIV/AIDS. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist, with over a decade of specialized clinical experience. As a queer-identified, trauma-informed, and sex-positive professional, my expertise lies in supporting individuals living with HIV, addressing substance use disorders, and working with a broad spectrum of relationship dynamics. I also offer dedicated services in sex therapy, as well as therapeutic interventions for trauma, anxiety, mood, and adjustment disorders. My therapeutic methodology is eclectic, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Relational Therapy, and more. At the heart of my practice is the conviction that everyone has the right to lead an open, secure, and fulfilling life. Establishing wholesome relationships with oneself and with others is instrumental in embracing our most genuine selves.
I understand; you've tried everything. Instead of following the traditional medical model of diagnosing and labeling, I meet you where you are with embodied support to help you live a fully integrated life. I blend practices from East and West, neuroscience with spirituality, and movement with introspection. My work focuses on integrating all parts of you—body, mind, and soul—to build healthier relationships, improve your self-esteem, help you relate differently to anxiety and depression, reconnect with purpose and meaning, and come home to your body. I believe in the healing power of embodiment to recover from the hurt you've experienced. I specialize in compassionate, trauma-focused ketamine-assisted therapy to help you live a more present and embodied life. Trauma can manifest as nearly any form of stress held in the nervous system, from autoimmune conditions and chronic pain to anxiety and addiction. Ketamine-assisted therapy is an excellent option if you feel like you've tried everything but still feel stuck. It's a safe and legal therapeutic option for treating symptoms ranging from depression and anxiety to OCD and eating disorders. Ketamine-assisted therapy is a science-backed intervention that heals on a neurobiological level, creating more lasting and transformative change. As a therapist specializing in EMDR and somatic psychology, in addition to ketamine-assisted therapy, my goal is to get you back in your body. I want you to feel relief, not just in sessions, but for the days and weeks that follow. Trauma isn't just "in your head"; it leaves a very real biological imprint on your body, memory, and brain chemistry. Through somatic (ancient Greek for "body") psychotherapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices, I help you find freedom from limiting beliefs, depression, anxiety, and addictive patterns. I offer in-person therapy to Seattle clients and virtual therapy throughout Washington and Colorado.
Hello! My name is Brandon and I have been in social services/mental health for about 9 years now. I have had a lot of success with young adult clients and adult clients looking to empower themselves but are maybe held back by ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relational issues, people pleasing, addiction, religious trauma - and much more! If I were to sum up my job to a few words, it is to empower you to live the life that you want! The relationship that we build together is super important to me as well, and I am good at building rapport with clients instead of being a "therapy robot". So, how can I help? I have built a reputation of being a straightforward and honest therapist, meaning I will challenge you, point out certain contradictions in thought patterns, push you to be more aware and mindful of problematic behaviors, validate your emotional experience, and explore your past to find reasons of certain behaviors you now struggle with. I'm a big music nerd who loves concerts and I play a couple of instruments. I really enjoy nerdy things like fantasy/sci-fi movies, shows, books, video games etc. I am also quite active and like to ski, mountain bike, enjoy the outdoors, and I like most sports overall. I'd love to invite you to call or email me if you think we'd be a good fit!
