Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

I am a neurodivergent licensed clinical psychologist and offer neurodiversity affirming assessment and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Hi, I’m Joanna Lester—founder of First Circle Therapy, a Colorado-based virtual practice. I specialize in working with college and grad students who are thoughtful, creative, and sensitive—but overwhelmed by the pressure to keep it all together. If you're juggling deadlines, relationships, family expectations, and big questions about who you're becoming, you might feel anxious, unmotivated, burned out, or just not yourself. You’re not alone—and therapy can be a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what really matters to you. Our work can help you move through cycles of self-doubt, people-pleasing, or perfectionism and into a more grounded, self-led life. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating identity shifts, or learning to set healthier boundaries, I offer space to explore your inner world with clarity and care. In our sessions, we’ll use nervous system tools (to help your body shift out of fight-or-flight and feel more at ease) and parts work (to help the different sides of you—like the achiever, avoider, or inner critic—work together instead of against each other). You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. I offer free consultations to see if we’re a fit, and I accept several major insurance plans to make therapy more accessible. Feel free to reach out—no pressure.
Life is tough. I see you wanting to get more quality out of your life. You might be the gladiator of a high achiever dragging around anxiety, autism, ADHD or a difficult past. Or maybe life got harder than that lately - like putting your feet on the floor is too hard today. Listen, I've been there myself. You're safe here. I got you. Let's get curious about you. You are the expert of your life; I'm right here with you handing you tools. Yes, I have the ground-breaking therapies. You’re the expert on your life. I’m here to walk alongside you and offer tools that fit. I often use CBT and DBT for practical work. I'm currently in training for EMDR. Next Steps: Just say hey. I'll respond less than a couple hours during my office hours. Or call the number and leave me a message. If I'm not in session or out of office, I'll answer your call myself. No couch. No traffic. Therapy is a chat by videocall - bring your own cat and coffee.
If you are open to deeper exploration, reconnecting to your authentic self, and challenging problematic patterns of thinking/behaviors, then I can provide a safe space for you. Making the decision to start therapy can often feel daunting and part of the work may revolve around confronting those fears. I ascribe to a psychodynamic approach that allows me to focus on you as a whole, not just your presenting concerns.Together, we can work towards identifying and exploring the barriers to growth and self-fulfillment that may be holding you back in your life. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, including food, body image, and self-esteem. I work with those struggling with substance abuse and addiction as well as mood disorders and managing life transitions. I am experienced in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to aid patients with trauma and PTSD. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I am here to guide you in the process of self-exploration, growth, and understanding with compassion, directness, and humor.
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying the same stress, grief, relationship struggles, or emotional pain for far too long. You may feel frustrated that despite your efforts, the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, communication feels difficult, burnout has taken over, or life no longer feels sustainable in the way it once did. Some clients come in feeling anxious, emotionally drained, lost in a major life transition, or unsure how to reconnect with themselves or the people they love. If this sounds like you, I'm glad you're here. I specialize in working with young adults and couples experiencing relationship distress, emotional disconnection, attachment injury, burnout, betrayal trauma, separation, and major life transitions. I also support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can come with these changes. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process rooted in honesty, connection, and compassion. Using a person-centered, attachment-based approach, I work alongside clients to explore the emotions and patterns keeping them stuck. Together, we work toward healing, healthier relationships, and greater overall balance, hope, and fulfillment.
Debug Your Cognitive Load. Optimize Your Resilience. I love helping my clients recover, build resilience, and create a life full of meaning. I blend my warm, personal therapeutic style with evidence-based practices to create a truly effective experience. I’ve seen how a strong therapeutic alliance with the right therapist can make a powerful difference in someone’s mental health journey. Together, we’ll explore how conflicts, disappointments, and setbacks can turn into opportunities for you to get back on track or even take your life to the next level. I see you as the expert and final authority on your own life so in our work together, I'll stay curious and really listen to you. Whether you're eager to start therapy or feeling hesitant, you're not alone. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based. I work with my clients to identify skills and assets and emphasize and refine them over time. Collaboratively, we look for new methods of coping and healing. I have specialized training in suicide-loss, trauma, LGBTQIA+, gifted and talented, grief and loss as well as ketamine-assisted therapy. I was also on the US Ski Team so I understand the psychology of performance and pressure.
I work with college students who are feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next. Many of my clients are navigating academic and relationship stress, identity exploration, life transitions, or broader mental health concerns. They’re often tired of feeling tired and are ready to start creating change, even if they’re not sure exactly what needs to shift. I see my clients as the experts on their own lives, and I value collaboration, transparency, and ongoing feedback throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we’ll explore what truly matters to you and build practical tools to help you move toward a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with your values. If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to schedule a consult call with me through my website! On our call, you can ask me any questions you may have, we'll talk a bit about your current stressors and goals for therapy, and will help us assess if we’re a good fit. I hope to hear from you!
I believe that people inherently want to move towards healing, but life is complex and things get mixed up along the way. I work to help clients move towards their most authentic & genuine selves. Within the counseling relationship, I strive to help clients feel supported & empowered so they can explore themselves, their current circumstances, past experiences, & future aspirations. I believe that people are the experts of their own lives but sometimes need a roadmap to help get back to where they want to be. One of the most powerful gifts that you can offer the world is to heal yourself & I would love to be a part of your journey. I work with clients to help them live more balanced and meaningful lives. I integrate nature therapy (including walk & talk therapy) into my work with clients & am an EMDR trained therapist. My counseling experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stressors, life adjustments, self-esteem, addiction & sport performance. Contact me if you are looking for an individualized & unique approach to therapy. I work collaboratively with clients to create & implement goals that resonate with the client. I am a registered yoga teacher & utilize yoga as well as sound healing practices into my work. I enjoy working with athletes who are wanting to improve their performance & focus.
I often work with students who are dealing with anxiety, school stress, family conflict, or feeling overwhelmed by expectations. You might feel like you’re trying to keep everything together while struggling on the inside. In therapy, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and develop skills that help you feel more grounded in yourself and supported in life. I also encourage parent coaching sessions to help caregivers learn tools to better support their child’s emotional growth.

Hi! As a clinically-trained therapist, I want you to know that the struggles you face and the traumas you have experienced do not have to define you. You have the ability to create a new path for yourself, to live the life you really want to live. I would love to help you create that life. As a Christian counselor, I believe God created perfection and placed it all in the Garden of Eden. Unfortunately, sin entered the picture and people have been struggling with the effects of sin ever since. Sometimes that struggle is beyond our resources and understanding. We need to have someone help us through life's troubles. I work with adults, couples, and teenagers. I am interested in helping my clients deal with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, spiritual issues, marriage issues, trauma, and others. My husband and I have been in church ministry for over 40 years. We've seen a lot. While I am passionate about my own spiritual walk, I do respect the journey each person is on. It is not my place to dictate to you how your walk should look. God is big enough to handle that part all by himself. I am married to a pastor, have two adult children, and one son-in-law. I dearly love spending time with my family and sometimes try to do a craft project.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with emotional dysregulation that can lead to impulsive behaviors or avoidance. My work focuses on helping clients develop emotional awareness, increase psychological flexibility, and cultivate self-compassion while building practical tools for meaningful, lasting change. I bring over ten years of experience in community mental health, two years spent in a full-time position at Western Colorado University’s Counseling Center, where I provided individual counseling to students. As both a former WCU therapist and an alumni of the same school, I have a deep appreciation for the unique challenges students in a small mountain community can face and the support they deserve. My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I also incorporate principles from interpersonal neurobiology and attachment theory to create a supportive, grounded, and collaborative environment. I am trained in EMDR and can integrate this more structured approach to trauma processing if requested or recommended. I’m passionate about this work because I believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and in every person’s capacity for growth. Together, we can create a space that fosters resilience, insight, and meaningful change.

Hello, I am a therapist with an extensive history of working with clients of all ages who have had to deal with a multitude of mental health symptoms, or just difficulty managing the conflicts that arise for all of us as we attempt to find joy in a complicated world. My style is to be collaborative while providing culturally responsive therapeutic services to children, adolescents, families, and individuals. I look forward to working with clients to enhance their innate abilities to create positive change in their lives, with their relationships, and within the community they interactive with. I feel it is my responsibility to be flexible in meeting the needs of all clients who come to me for therapy. Together we will discover the style of learning that best suits you in order to create an environment safe enough to address the concerns which bring you to therapy at this time. I believe, that for many, reaching out and asking for help, support, or sharing inner concerns can seem like an unattainable process. I also believe that once a person makes the decision to reach out they begin to feel a sense of relief and hope. I feel honored to provide therapy and to be a part of someone's choice to engage in the therapeutic process.
