Foundational Healthcare Solutions is a psychiatric practice dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care through secure telehealth services. Our practice specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adolescents and young adults, with particular experience addressing the mental health needs commonly encountered in university populations. We provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns. All services are delivered by licensed psychiatric clinicians with extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to best practices and patient-centered care. A central focus of our practice is confidentiality and clinical integrity. Our telehealth platform is fully HIPAA-compliant, utilizing encrypted, secure technology designed to protect patient privacy at all times. We adhere strictly to federal and state regulations governing medical records, informed consent, and confidentiality, and we are especially mindful of the privacy considerations unique to students navigating academic, residential, and family environments. Our telepsychiatry model allows students to access timely, consistent psychiatric care while minimizing disruptions to their academic responsibilities. Telehealth visits offer flexibility, reduce barriers related to transportation or scheduling, and maintain the same clinical rigor and professional standards as in-person care. When clinically indicated, we collaborate with university health services, counseling centers, and other providers, always within appropriate consent and confidentiality parameters, to support continuity of care. We would welcome the opportunity to serve as a resource for you. Our goal is to complement university-based supports by providing reliable, discreet, and high-quality psychiatric care that prioritizes student well-being and academic success. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi, I'm Emilee and I am glad you are here! I am an eating disorder dietitian providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. I work with folks who experience some of the following: - Feeling tired of starting a new diet - Experiencing shame & guilt around food - Folks who are wanting a more accepting relationship with their natural body size - Are in eating disorder recovery or struggling with disordered eating - Navigating the pregnancy and the postpartum About Emilee: I live in Virginia with my husband and our sassy bulldog, Stella. My choice to enter the field of nutrition originates from my personal journey of overcoming struggles with food and my commitment to challenging and deconstructing diet culture. I have worked in various levels of care for eating disorder recovery as a dietitian and clinical director. I grew up in rural Virginia and still get excited that I live close to a Target these days. When I am not seeing clients you can find me watching BRAVO TV, reading my Kindle, and going out for sushi. Philosophy & Approach: I use a Health at Every Size® (HAES) and Intuitive Eating framework. My approach is rooted in body neutrality, prioritizing overall well-being, without a focus on weight. Rather than fixating on numbers, I encourage fostering positive connections with food. My sessions are client-centered. You know your body best therefore I am here as a supporting hand. I founded Embrace Nutrition with the purpose of individuals having a safe and non-judgmental space to develop healthier relationships with food & their natural body size. I specialize in binge eating disorder but work with all diagnosis and eating challenges. My goal in our work together is for you to feel empowered. The constant messages from diet culture are exhausting and confusing. I take time to listen & learn so I can be a partner to you in this journey Embracing one's body, nourishment, and unique journey are fundamental principles that guide my approach as an eating disorder dietitian.

Ultimately, therapy can lead you to greater self-awareness, self-esteem, and most importantly, a more fulfilling life. I have expertise working with clients who seek help for depression, anxiety, life transition, coping, divorce, family discord, postpartum, baby blues, and much more. Please reach out, and let me support you during your hard times.
Many people I work with describe their struggles with self-doubt, persistent worries, irrational fears, and "overthinking" tendencies, saying that they second-guess themselves and struggle to quiet their anxious thoughts. Often, these struggles are a result of past traumatic events that have shaped how the brain perceives the world. Other times, these struggles may trace back to unhelpful messaging from outside sources, which can result in learned behaviors, patterns, and ways of thinking that promote anxiety, worry, and shame. I use modalities such as EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, and CBT to support clients with these struggles. Therapy can support us to uncover and understand the impacts that traumas and other past events have on how we navigate the world. This awareness, coupled with therapeutic interventions, can support us to heal from past hardships and make changes to the learned survival techniques that are no longer serving us. Those who work with me describe me as compassionate, accepting, and interactive in my approach, and I strive to create a comfortable and judgment-free environment for my clients. I offer online scheduling, specialized, evidence-based approaches, and brief, no-cost phone consultations. I encourage you to reach out to see if working together may be a good fit!

College can be an exciting time—but it can also feel overwhelming. Between classes, relationships, and planning for the future, it’s easy to feel anxious, lonely, or unsure of yourself. If you’ve been struggling with stress, depression, or relationship challenges—or if you’re just feeling stuck and want things to be different—I can help. Many students come to therapy when they’re navigating big changes: adjusting to college life, dealing with breakups or family conflict, grieving a loss, or trying to manage perfectionism and pressure to succeed. Together, we can explore the patterns that keep you feeling anxious, unmotivated, or dissatisfied—and help you build new ways of understanding yourself and relating to others. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I help students tap into their strengths, learn healthy ways to cope with uncertainty, and create more authentic, fulfilling relationships. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s really an act of self-care and courage. It’s a space to be heard without judgment—and to begin making meaningful changes in your life. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, confident, and connected, reach out today to schedule a session.
Hello and welcome! Whether you’re stepping into parenthood, navigating relationship changes, or simply trying to find your footing again, it’s natural to feel unsteady along the way. I specialize in mental health support during life transitions with clients who are navigating stress, identity shifts, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients describe themselves as highly sensitive or as people who put others first. If that sounds like you—constantly giving, saying “yes” when you’d rather say “no,” or feeling guilty for needing care yourself—you’re not alone. Our work together will focus on quieting self-doubt, strengthening your confidence, and helping you feel like you again. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. We keep our work grounded and conversational, with space for both depth and laughter—because humor heals too. Reaching out takes courage, and even nurturers deserve care, compassion, and grace in a world not built for us. I look forward to working together!
I am a licensed clinical social work with a wealth of experience working with adolescence, adults, and families. I strive to assist my clients in embracing change, empowering themselves, and healing while navigating through life stressors.

Life as a college student is supposed to be great, but at the end of the day it can really suck. Exams, studying, roommates, relationships, missing home - these are all things that can drive us crazy, not to mention any depression or anxiety that might have been hanging around before. And if you’re dealing with sexuality or gender identity issues, it can really feel difficult. If you’ve made it this far you’ve taken an awesome step towards figuring stuff out. It’s not easy to do, and therapy really can help with the right fit. Whether it’s LGBTQIA+ issues, dealing with a less than ideal roommate, or just figuring out what you want to do with your life, I’ve been there and want to help you through it too.
