Feeling anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed? At a crossroads in your relationship, career or emotional life? Even the strongest among us can feel lost, unsure, ambivalent, or unhappy at times. As a certified Counselor, I can help you understand and process your life challenges, and build a path to a more fulfilling, holistic life. I work with adults going through various life and relationship transitions, and those dealing with anxiety, stress, and depression related to these changes. I support clients who would like to find balance by increasing insight, self-care, compassion, and self-worth.
If you are feeling stuck or conflicted, or would like to go deeper to process what you know is holding you back from living fully, I may be able to help. We can explore all of your particularity and weirdness, including things you love and find frustrating or shameful about yourself. All of your identities are welcome in therapy, even those that seem to conflict. Many of the people I am privileged to work with are exploring LGBTQ identities and/or religious faith or spirituality.
My desire is to help people along the journey of healing and wholeness. I provide a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space where we can explore what is weighing you down. In each counseling session, I work with my client to identify problems and ultimately find solutions that fit their needs. I graduated from Richmont Graduate University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a Certificate in Christian Sex Therapy. I have special interests in helping young adults navigate stresses that come with identity formation and navigating technology use and busy schedules. I have experience with a variety of issues and treatment approaches including but not limited to: personal growth, identity, self-esteem, expressive and creative therapies, EMDR, stress management, spiritual growth, depression, anxiety, issues of sexuality and sexual wholeness including sexual pain, trauma, and boundary issues.
Hi, I’m Tamika Grimes, a licensed professional counselor with over 18 years of experience supporting teens, adults, and professionals through life’s challenges. I use Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts impact their behaviors and guide them toward lasting change. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to grow.
We are a specialty practice that tailors our services to women. We offer telehealth sessions and focus on issues like transitioning to and from college, depression, anxiety, boundaries, communication, trauma and much more! We also specialize in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, miscarriages, and infertility.
I primarily work with individuals struggling with compulsive behavior, including sex/porn addiction, codependency, internet/social media addiction, and problem spending/debting. Addiction is meant to make you feel less. It provides temporary numbing for lifelong pain. You feel trapped, depressed, angry, anxious, guilty, and afraid when you can't stop. Recovering from compulsive behavior, though not easy, is possible and has been accomplished many times. But it does require a complete change in beliefs and attitude, along with how to deal with life and its problems. Getting out of your head and taking action is the next indicated step. Listen to your mind and body - it's time to stop treating yourself so badly. I can help you learn to help yourself. You can become your own best advocate. All are welcome in my office, including those from BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities.
At Misfit Minds, we work best with students who feel a little overwhelmed by life—even if they’re doing “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are carrying anxiety, stress, trauma, or complicated relationship experiences that make it hard to focus, rest, or feel like themselves. Our clients often say things like: “I’m exhausted and always on edge.” “My brain won’t shut off.” “I’ve been through a lot, and it still affects me.” “I don’t feel understood in other spaces.” We’re a good fit for students who want therapy that feels real, supportive, and non-judgmental, not stiff or overly clinical. We especially connect with students navigating anxiety, identity questions, difficult family or relationship dynamics, past emotional harm, or feeling out of place. You don’t need to have everything figured out—or even know exactly what’s wrong—to start. If you want a space where you can be honest, go at your own pace, and be met with compassion, Misfit Minds may be a good fit for you.
Whether you are experiencing changes in mood, struggling with a particular situation, or having difficulties adjusting to a new life phase, therapy can often give you the skills to overcome these challenges. It is my goal to provide an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment that is supportive of your desire to make changes in your life.
Navigating life’s challenges doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or isolating. I work with teens, women, and families to provide a safe, affirming space where you can explore your emotions, build healthier relationships, and develop meaningful coping tools. Whether you're facing anxiety, life transitions, parenting stress, or family conflict, I meet you where you are—with empathy, curiosity, and compassion. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and deeply person-centered. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a clinical checklist. You’re the expert on your life—I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support, insight, and strategies that align with your goals and values. I specialize in helping clients untangle difficult emotions, improve communication, and reconnect with their strengths. If you're looking for a therapist who is approachable, thoughtful, and committed to making therapy a collaborative process, I’d be honored to support your journey.
Holistic Approach Sacred Journeys, LLC offers an environment of unconditional positive regard where individuals can safely heal and grow. I approach mental health from a holistic perspective. I am especially interested in the mind/body connection and its implications for natural healing. I often incorporate meditation and mindfulness in order to assist individuals in connecting to their own sources of healing and inner wisdom. I have also found that meditation and mindfulness can be especially helpful for individuals who have struggle with focus and concentration. I enjoy working with the disenfranchised population. I employ an array of expressive therapeutic interventions in order to assist clients in addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, anger management issues, spiritual dysphoria, as well as self-esteem issues. I draw from the theories of Hakomi, a Body-Centered Psychotherapy, as well as Internal Family Systems Therapy.

Hey, man. Your friends, family, or your partner aren't supposed to be your therapist. You need an outlet where you can be vulnerable, speak freely, and unburden yourself without any fear of backlash that could damage the relationship. You want a return on investment of the time, money, and energy that you put into therapy because that's what matters most. You need a therapist who gets you because you deserve to build a life worth living. This relationship needs to feel right, and you want a therapist who can join you through the truth, tell you like it is, and help you find the best tools for your toolbox. Usually, clients connect with me because of challenges connected to men's issues, grief & loss, emotion regulation, relationship issues, and life transitions through pregnancy and postpartum.
*note: I am currently working full-time as a telehealth therapist!* As a person-centered therapist, I believe in creating a warm, safe space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Hello! My name is Jessica Hallman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Many of us go throughout life having to be different versions of ourselves, whether that’s being different versions at work, with friends or with family. We get into this mode where we compartmentalize, hide ourselves and our experiences for various reasons which can include shame, pain, anxiety, anger, or fear of not being accepted. This often leaves us feeling lost, tired, unfulfilled, or unhappy. Whether you are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, problems with relationships, or a general sense of disconnectedness, I will work alongside you to promote inner healing, self discovery, and acceptance while allowing you to feel fully seen. I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, supportive, and non-judgmental where you can gently put down the “mask” and bring your whole self. I believe in having an individualized approach to meeting your needs. With the use of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy, I will support you in gaining strength and finding joy. My belief is that we are each uniquely the captains of our own lives and at times, just need a new or different perspective on how to navigate our experiences. Let’s partner together, with you leading the way at your own pace (mask off), and begin the process of restoring your inner peace.
