Therapy is not about having all the answers β itβs about discovering them together. I believe therapy is a space where we get to be deeply human β messy, growing, curious, and real. My approach is collaborative and grounded in trust, compassion, and a genuine belief in your ability to heal and grow. I work with individuals navigating a range of challenges β whether it's anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck.
It's not always easy to ask for help. You were probably really looking forward to college being the best time of your life, and in many ways it probably is. But in some ways, you're struggling and that can be really tough. It's takes tremendous strength to recognize that and ask for help. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am here to listen and help you work through whatever is making life hard right now. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, and can also help to navigate many of the other challenges of college life, such as social or family relationships, identity, stress, body image, self-confidence, feeling overwhelmed with school or with other aspects of life, college adjustment, future planning, and other related issues. Students appreciate my authentic and relatable approach that I combine with my positive and supportive energy to help empower you to make the changes you need to move forward. Feel free to read over my website and reach out for a consult. I'm here and I can help. SCHEDULE: I have a flexible schedule and will work with you to find session times that accommodate your busy life. LOCATION: I am licensed for telehealth in Florida and Georgia so if you are in college in either state, I can help. I currently offer all my sessions online so no need to drive anywhere, just log in with a link using your phone, tablet or laptop. So you can do your therapy wherever you are comfortable, avoid traffic, and resume life as soon as you log off. If home is in GA or FL, we can continue our therapy during visits home, or if you live in another state, we may be able to continue there too, I'd just need to check local regulations. FINANCIAL: Although I am out of network with insurance, I do offer a sliding scale fee as needed to help make therapy accessible for those at all income levels.

The Sanctuary Care & Counseling Center is a counseling practice that aims to facilitate wellness through the integration of spirituality and mental health. This is done through ensuring that clients feel safe, supported, and are persistently reminded to extend themselves grace and self-compassion. In the Sanctuary clients are provided a safe space to discuss the complexities of "adulting", process their trauma, navigate grief, adjust to change and transitions, be vulnerable about their fears and insecurities, and express uncertainty and ambivalence about their faith stories. Contrary to popular belief, you donβt have to have it -" all together". We invite you to The Sanctuary, where we will partner with you as you strive to figure it out.
*Telehealth/video sessions I have spent most of my career working as a therapist in a college counseling center. I am very familiar with all the challenges that being a student and balancing a new life bring. Becoming who you are going to be -while feeling and balancing all the things can seem so overwhelming! I work well with students who are struggling with fear, anxiety (social and other), relationships, old memories, trauma, recovering from sexual assault, past abuse, family conflict, low self esteem, worthlessness, self harm, eating difficulties, existential crisis, coming out-LGBTQ, and multicultural issues. My students tend to learn who they are and what matters to them, how to feel more peaceful, more joyful, more at ease, and more self loving. They often learn how to communicate better, say no, sleep at night, and have healthier relationships with others. I partner a lot with people who are healing from PTSD, or are grieving and have suffered losses as well. A lot of my clients say they feel more courageous, more at home in their body, more content being themselves and trusting of themselves after we work together. They feel empowered and comfortable being who they are. Although I am a private pay practice, please ask me about my student discount.I have a passion for working with students. We can also talk about appointment availability. If you are covered by insurance, I can give you a Superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

When not cultivating my therapy practice I enjoy gardening, yoga, playing with my dog Walter, music, movies, horses, & laughing.
