I specialize in helping high performers thrive in a fast-paced, uncertain, ever-changing world.
Hello! My name is Jessica Hallman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Many of us go throughout life having to be different versions of ourselves, whether that’s being different versions at work, with friends or with family. We get into this mode where we compartmentalize, hide ourselves and our experiences for various reasons which can include shame, pain, anxiety, anger, or fear of not being accepted. This often leaves us feeling lost, tired, unfulfilled, or unhappy. Whether you are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, problems with relationships, or a general sense of disconnectedness, I will work alongside you to promote inner healing, self discovery, and acceptance while allowing you to feel fully seen. I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, supportive, and non-judgmental where you can gently put down the “mask” and bring your whole self. I believe in having an individualized approach to meeting your needs. With the use of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy, I will support you in gaining strength and finding joy. My belief is that we are each uniquely the captains of our own lives and at times, just need a new or different perspective on how to navigate our experiences. Let’s partner together, with you leading the way at your own pace (mask off), and begin the process of restoring your inner peace.

Hi, My name is Heather and I have been working as an individual and family therapist for over 10 years. Through my professional experiences, I have found a love for working with younger adult clients and currently work with many undergraduate and graduate college student. I enjoy my work in helping to identify what isn't working for clients in their individual lives or in their relationships and finding alternative ways of thinking and responding that support mental wellness. My experience is is mostly in the areas of symptoms commonly experienced by those struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD. I work mainly with cognitive models of therapy and am trained in EMDR, and have experience with other theories of psychology that I interweave into my practice, depending on what clients needs are and what they respond positively to. Ultimately I think the connection between therapist and client is the most important part of the therapeutic relationship and I truly enjoy getting to know my clients on a personal level through the clinical work we engage in. I'd appreciate your consideration in your searches for a therapist to work with.
I believe in a holistic approach to mental health. I recognize that mental well-being is just one piece of the puzzle and that your overall health and happiness are interconnected. Treatment Philosophy We are a counseling practice and professional team that believes in developing personal, caring relationships with our clients. Time after time, clinical studies have proven that success in counseling isn’t about theory or techniques. It’s about relationships. Specifically, the relationship between you and your clinician. We strive to make counseling a uniquely helpful and positive experience. A one size fits all approach doesn’t work. If people are individuals, shouldn’t counseling be individualized? We will work together to construct an approach that fits your needs and create an experience that helps you achieve progress. Our treatment philosophy values a strength-based outlook. In other words, while we’ll carefully consider your issues and concerns, we’ll also spend a considerable amount of time leveraging what you do well and how to build on those strengths using scientifically supported counseling techniques. Counseling doesn’t have to be a long, drawn out process to be helpful. Sometimes all it takes is a small step in the right direction for you to move forward in your life. Client care is our highest priority and it shows in everything we do. We offer direct care and support from start to finish. You’ll have a real conversation to help determine which therapist will be the ideal match for yourself or your family’s needs. From that point on you’ll schedule directly with your therapist. You will always be cared for by a licensed professional. We are a treatment team. We regularly consult with each other on cases so that you’ll have the benefit of the combined wisdom and expertise of all of our staff working closely together to create the best possible outcomes for you. Please know that we hold ourselves to the highest standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Your personal information is safe with us and stays within the confines of Focus Forward practice. I'm passionate about working with college students and recent grads. The transition from being a dependent to independent adult occurs rapidly while you're attending college and again once you graduate. It's common to experience anxiety and depression in the form of worrying about everything under the sun or feeling down more often than usual to simply feeling overwhelmed 24/7. I'm here to walk with you through those feelings, give you skills to cope with them, and process them along the way.

Hi! Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and my hope is to gain your trust and build rapport. I provide therapy in a non-judgmental space to help facilitate this. I embrace “to be flawed is to be human,” and with this will focus from a Strengths perspective in our work together. My role is to help empower you to use your positive character traits to shift towards the change you want to see in life. I will incorporate mindfulness practice as well as components of Person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and CBT to guide you in your therapeutic journey. My only requirements to work together are honesty and an open-mind. I thoroughly enjoy working with adults and adolescents, including those struggling with substance abuse issues.
I work with clients navigating major life changes, managing anxious thoughts, and overcoming self-doubt. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a core approach, I help you explore how your thoughts influence your emotions and overall experience. Together, we’ll identify the patterns holding you back and develop strategies to challenge those thoughts.
Catherine (She/her) As a school social worker for 27 years, I worked with students PreK-12th grade and their families in school and the community. The last 10 years I focused more on the HS level with more personal issues that were affecting students' ability to focus on their classes. I got a reputation as someone who kept their secrets and helped them sort out who they are, esp. around issues of gender disphoria, sexual identity, and depression that frequently accompanies the struggle of self acceptance and showing ones' authentic self to others. College is a tough time for many people. If you think I can help you with this transition, please set up a video conference today. It's as confidential and encrypted as I'm capable to do.

As a marriage and family therapist, the clients I work best with tend to share a few key characteristics. Many of them are looking for ways to improve their relationships, whether that means addressing issues with a spouse, family members, or even themselves. They often feel stuck or overwhelmed by the challenges they’re facing and are looking for guidance in creating healthier, more fulfilling connections. If you’re someone who wants to better understand yourself and your relationships, or if you’re facing communication struggles, trust issues, or simply trying to navigate life changes, my practice might be a great fit for you. You don’t have to go through these challenges alone — many people come to therapy seeking support in learning how to communicate more effectively, heal from past hurts, or find balance in their lives. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are motivated to make changes and improve their relationships. If you’re open to learning new tools and strategies to strengthen your connections with others, we might be a great match! Together, we’ll explore your experiences and find ways to move forward in a healthy, positive direction.
