Immediate openings – we’ll help match you with the right therapist. We’re a small, trusted team of therapists who support adults and young adults across Massachusetts. Whether you’re navigating a specific diagnosis, a life stressor, or something harder to name, we’re here to help. Our therapists have varying specialties—so you can stop searching and start healing. We bring different strengths, but we share the same core values: compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care.
Hate therapy? I get it. If you’d rather spend your time and money not sifting through your problems, I don’t blame you. But, if you are missing out on a sense of peace or feel like you'll burst if something doesn't change soon, then it’s worth it to invest in yourself through therapy. I'm committed to not pathologizing people (you are not broken), but some of the concerns I work with the most are: men’s issues (i.e. intimacy) , life transitions (i.e. college, divorce), anxiety, substance use disorders, self esteem/empowerment. I tailor sophisticated treatment modalities to your needs and am abundantly grateful for your trust. I know what it's like to suffer and to start to see the light. You can, too. Together, we focus on measurable success through the use of evidence based models. I consistently stay abreast of new interventions to best serve you. While I adhere to a therapeutic structure, you'll find me easy going and making use of humor- no one wants to talk to a robot. While I'm committed to 'dweebing it out' with psychoeducation, formal psychotherapy pairs well with a less rigid, unpretentious environment. I strive to create that space for you. People say I'm easy to talk to & I bring this spirit to our relationship to make you feel comfortable sorting through some of those tough bits of life from the start.
Do you find yourself stuck or pained in relationships - with yourself, others, the world, or your past? The struggle may show up as loneliness, emptiness, maladaptive interpersonal patterns, or as symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating etc. I strive to create trust in a nonjudgmental and authentic atmosphere, from where we work together to understand and help resolve your struggles. My style in session is warm, collaborative, and actively engaged. I'm not a passive listener who nods along silently—I'm present with you, noticing what's happening in the room, gently drawing attention to patterns, emotions, and moments that matter, including the ones you might be inclined to gloss over. Sometimes our work is more experiential—slowing down to sit with what's emerging rather than rushing past it. Other times it's more practical and action-oriented—working on concrete strategies, trying new behaviors, or building skills you can use between sessions. I blend insight-oriented, cognitive-behavioral, and emotion-focused approaches in individualized ways that fit who you are and what you're working through. I bring extensive experience across college counseling centers and mental health clinics, having most recently served as a staff psychologist at Harvard University Health Services, and previously at Case Western Reserve University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Northwestern University (where I completed my postdoctoral fellowship). I am now in full-time private practice. I'm also the Chinese translator of Irvin Yalom's Existential Psychotherapy and The Gift of Therapy, and serve on the Expert Committee at Jiandanxinli (简单心理), the largest therapist platform in China.
I am a Harvard and Brown University educated board-certified psychiatrist welcoming new patients seeking tailored, patient-centered psychiatric care in Back Bay. However, if symptoms are severe, I will work with you to find a medication that may help. I strongly encourage open and honest communication throughout the treatment process as I want you to get the best possible treatment which aligns with your preferences and goals. Timely and collaborative psychiatric treatment can be transformative and empower you to live your best life. Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a Boston-based Registered Dietitian passionate about helping you prioritize your relationship with food. After earning my degree in Nutritional Sciences from Boston University, I went on to complete my supervised practice training through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Teaching Hospital in Boston, MA. The rigorous nature of this clinical internship, paired with my experience working in all levels of eating disorder treatment, gives me the experience needed to care for a wide range of populations. Whether you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder or your intuition simply tells you your relationship with food/your body is dysregulated, I can help you reclaim your trust in yourself. I take an evidenced-based, HAES-informed, non-diet approach to help you cultivate a nourishing and normalized eating pattern that suits your individual needs. My goal is to build your confidence in making nutrition decisions for a full life!
