I work with individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their lives due to transitions, low self-esteem, mood disorders and anxiety. My approach to therapy is both goal oriented and insight oriented. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy that is person-centered and strengths-based. I use mindfulness-based techniques to help clients calm their minds, focus on the present and connect with their physical bodies. I believe that clients know themselves best and, through partnering with clients, I help them to live their best lives. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with a degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapies and a Certified Life Coach and Wellness Coach. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and my professional background includes serving as a School Adjustment Counselor at Milton High School. I support clients throughout the school year, helping them navigate emotional, social, and behavioral situations. Additionally, I offer a 6-8 session solution-based therapy module specifically available specifically during the summer. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, and their families in diverse educational and clinical settings. I support the emotional, social, and behavioral development of a large caseload of students where I have developed a strong background in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress management, and ADHD. Additionally, I am deeply experienced in supporting clients as they work through complex relationship dynamics, family issues, and trauma.

I am passionate about debunking nutrition myths, sharing nutrition facts and creating meal prep strategies to help balance mood and energy. Hate therapy? I get it. If you’d rather spend your time and money not sifting through your problems, I don’t blame you. But, if you are missing out on a sense of peace or feel like you'll burst if something doesn't change soon, then it’s worth it to invest in yourself through therapy. I'm committed to not pathologizing people (you are not broken), but some of the concerns I work with the most are: men’s issues (i.e. intimacy) , life transitions (i.e. college, divorce), anxiety, substance use disorders, self esteem/empowerment. I tailor sophisticated treatment modalities to your needs and am abundantly grateful for your trust. I know what it's like to suffer and to start to see the light. You can, too. Together, we focus on measurable success through the use of evidence based models. I consistently stay abreast of new interventions to best serve you. While I adhere to a therapeutic structure, you'll find me easy going and making use of humor- no one wants to talk to a robot. While I'm committed to 'dweebing it out' with psychoeducation, formal psychotherapy pairs well with a less rigid, unpretentious environment. I strive to create that space for you. People say I'm easy to talk to & I bring this spirit to our relationship to make you feel comfortable sorting through some of those tough bits of life from the start.
