Hi, I help young adults manage their mental health medications via telehealth, and provide education about balancing medication use with a healthy lifestyle. Medication is not a quick-fix, or an all encompassing solution, but it can help! Unfortunately, because we are currently telehealth only, we are not prescribing stimulants (for ADHD treatment or narcolepsy) to new patients. We can continue existing prescriptions if patient has a PCP that they see yearly. Please contact me or sign up for a new patient appointment on my website if you feel that our practice might be right for you.
Feeling anxious? You are not alone. It can be easy to end up feeling overwhelmed, uncertain and depressed - The pressures of relationships, school or work, family, friends all seem to pile up - and then taking care of yourself ends up on the bottom of the priority list. At Movemental Wellbeing, my approach is to help create a calm space where the anxiety and overwhelm don't have such a profound hold on you. One of the best strategies I know to do this is to find opportunities to go outside with clients, to go for a walk, and to feel connected and understood. Many of my colleagues and clients describe me as having a calm and compassionate presence, and that is the foundation of my work with you. Beyond that, I also believe that therapy doesn't have to be hard all the time. I like to find moments of humor, fun, joy and play and to make sessions experiential and movement-based to support all aspects of you. If the typical version of therapy (sitting and talking) doesn't feel like the best way for you to do this work, let's try something different. I'm committed to making therapy engaging, insightful and thought-provoking (and even fun). If this sounds like a refreshing approach that you might be interested in trying, please schedule a free consult call!

Hi! My name is Katie Kalina, a licensed independent clinician with over 6 years of experience. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and healed, and that as your therapist, it's my job to meet you exactly where you're at. One of my specialties is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. As your therapist, I will make it my mission to make you feel at home in our sessions. Once we meet, I will help you set goals and devise a plan that will make you transform in the ways that you wish to. Looking forward to completing this journey with you and bringing you ongoing success. I enjoy working with college students, and have experience treating a wide variety of issues. These include, but are not limited to: Anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment problems, self-esteem difficulties, and family conflict. I also have a special interest and training background in PTSD and trauma-related difficulties. I am EMDR-trained. My style is warm and collaborative, and I use an individualized approach with each client. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to gain support, insight, and tools to guide you on your mental health journey. I am an ideal choice for students who go to school in Massachusetts but permanently reside in New Hampshire (or vice versa). I am licensed in both states, which means that I can meet with you when you are at school and when you are home on breaks. I am an ally and safe space to members of the LGTBQIA community, racial/ethnic minorities, and those impacted by poverty. I am aware of how systemic oppression, systems of privilege, and all forms of prejudice impact human functioning. However, I do not pretend to be an expert in these areas, and I am not personally a member of the above-mentioned communities. I welcome any questions about me or my practice. Please feel free to reach out at carahgarsopsyd@gmail.com or 603-577-5551 x3.
I've been practicing for 12+ years and in recent years have realized that I love working with individual women 15+yo, so I began catering my practice ONLY to this population! Please check out my website - I hope it will answer many of your questions, but please reach out to me by phone or email with any additional questions. Also, though you can book an appointment directly through my website and I try to keep those options updated, please contact me if you'd like to make an appointment but none of the times listed work for you.
