I specialize in working with teens and young adults. I have a strong background in cognitive behavioral therapy but tend to take a more eclectic and collaborative approach in order to tailor the therapy experience to each specific client’s needs and goals. I am here to offer a safe space that is filled with genuine compassion and empathy. It is my goal that you always feel seen and heard in the therapy room. Together, we can discover what it is that you need in order to cope with difficult experiences, heal from past or present trauma, and grow into exactly the person you want to be.

It's ok to ask for help. But it's also ok to wonder if a therapist can really help you. It's true that I can't erase your past or instantly take away your pain (although I wish I could). However, I can help you carry your burdens more lightly, whether that means healing from trauma, finding closure from a relationship, or learning new ways of coping with depression and anxiety. I can offer you a new perspective on the issues that you are dealing with. You have struggled alone long enough. Therapy is your time to feel supported and understood. I have a particular interest in working with couples and healing childhood trauma. Between the ages of 18-22, many people enter a pivotal period of independence and self-exploration. It is often a time when young adults begin to reflect on their childhood and family relationships with greater depth, clarity, and emotional awareness. How these relationships are processed can have lifelong impact. I can help support this reflective process so that it leads to healing, growth, and a stronger sense of self.
