Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Winston-Salem, NC

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing ethical, evidence-based mental health care. My professional approach is rooted in a holistic, patient-centered model that respects your individual needs, experiences, and cultural background. I believe every patient is different, which is why I curate individualized care plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle adjustments, or a combination of these approaches. My goal is to promote healing, recovery, and overall well-being while building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University and bring extensive knowledge and expertise in diagnosing, treating, and evaluating a wide range of mental health conditions. By combining clinical knowledge, patient advocacy, and the adaptability of telemedicine, I ensure that my practice continually evolves with the most up-to-date psychiatric nursing standards. The process begins with an initial consultation where we review your history, current symptoms, and overall wellness. From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan together, adjusting as needed through ongoing communication. I invite you to book your appointment today so we can begin working toward lasting progress and meaningful change.

Marriage & Family Therapist
Gloucester, MA

Hi, my name is Alicia! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Narrative Therapist. I work with clients to identify the effects that problems are having in their lives. I offer a space for people to feel empowered while exploring their values and working toward their goals. I believe when people have the chance to be seen as a person rather than a problem, they are able to create change in their life in meaningful ways. I support my clients by shifting away from blame and addressing the problem directly. I believe therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist. I bring curiosity, connection, acceptance, and humor into the therapeutic space. I think all people are unique and valuable—Everyone deserves a safe therapeutic space to be heard and appreciated for who they truly are. Feeling genuinely heard is the first step towards sustainable change.

Making the first call is sometimes the hardest part of the therapeutic process. I commend you for your strength and courage in seeking help. One of the most important steps of pursuing counseling is finding a passionate, knowledgeable, and trusting therapist that you feel comfortable with. One that will sit with you through your difficult moments and help you to recognize or remind you of your strength. If a mood disorder or anxiety is taking control of your life, I can help you to learn how to manage it. If you are experiencing challenges with your significant other(s), friends, family members I can help you to improve the connection, understanding, and intimacy. Do you just need someone to check in with, someone to vent to in a judgment-free environment, a place to chat about and figure out all of the challenging transitions in your life? I am here for you, holding space for you, rooting for you, encouraging you, holding you accountable if needed, and empowering you. Do you or your partner have concerns about sexual issues including but not limited to; sexual desire/arousal, interests, orientation, impulsivity, compulsivity, erectile functioning, trouble reaching orgasm, painful intercourse, intimacy issues related to disability or chronic condition, or concerns regarding past unwanted sexual experiences? I can help. I am passionate about empowering my clients and couples. There is no greater feeling than seeing the progress they have made! Hello! Thanks for stopping by, it’s great to connect with you. I'm a musician/creative pursuing my Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. I see clients in Massachusetts via Telehealth at a low-cost (the rate of your insurance co-pay). My training has prepared me to work with a wide range of issues, like anxiety, depression, grief, and major life changes. Topics I'm passionate about include LGBTQ+ issues, spirituality/faith transitions, and posttraumatic growth. I'm excited to share my knowledge with you and create a space together that best supports your growth and healing. I take an experiential and embodied approach to my work. This means that, in addition to talking, I offer other clinical methods to help support you, such as Music Therapy. I also like to infuse my work with an element of creativity and play, when appropriate. My goal is that you leave each session feeling supported to keep moving forward. If anything has resonated with you, I look forward to connecting! It would be a pleasure and honor to support you through this stage of your journey. You're not in this alone, and together, we can do some great work.

Anxiety and depression can make college feel overwhelming—constant worry, overthinking, feeling on edge, sudden waves of panic, or getting stuck in “what if” thoughts and mental loops. For some students, it also shows up as perfectionism, needing things to feel just right, or feeling driven to overanalyze, check, or mentally replay situations. For others, they get stuck and can't make decisions, start tasks, and quickly fall behind. My work with students is practical, goal-focused, and skills-based. Together, we focus on tools you can actually use in daily life—learning how to step out of worry and mental loops, tolerate uncertainty and distress, understand and name emotions, and respond more flexibly when strong, uncomfortable emotions show up. We’ll also look at how your emotions influence your choices, habits, and relationships, and work toward changes that help you move forward. The goal isn’t to eliminate anxiety or other uncomfortable emotions completely, but to help emotions to have less control over your thoughts, decisions, and day-to-day life so you can feel more present and grounded. My focus is on individual therapy for anxiety, social anxiety, panic, OCD, adjustment issues, depression and trauma focused therapy for PTSD.

I consider the relationship between client and therapist one of the most important factors in therapy. As a therapist, my goal is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space so I can assist others in exploring negative patterns in their lives and help them develop new tools to foster positive coping skills. I utilize a holistic approach to therapy, with special focus on the body and mind and how they interact. As a registered yoga teacher, my treatment approach places emphasis on turning inward and reconnecting with the body to help release stored emotions. I use a trauma-informed approach to life issues with clients and incorporate mindfulness skills, somatic movement, and breathwork into my therapy practice. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, PTSD, and mood disorders. Additionally, I work with clients who are experiencing grief and loss, life transitions, addiction, caregiver stress, interpersonal/relationship problems, and codependency.
