Therapists for college students near Boston, MA
I specialize in therapy for young and emerging adult women with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and OCD to help them find balance and gain new perspectives on how they see the world and themselves. I challenge Perfectionists, Overthinkers, and People Pleasers to step out of their black-and-white thinking. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that have protected you in the past, dive deeper into your experiences, and notice the stories that your mind is telling you. We’ll work with both your mind and body, helping you tune into how your thoughts, emotions, and physical responses are connected. As an integrative therapist, I blend evidence-based practices with a human, relational approach—drawing from different modalities to meet you where you are and what you need most. My goal is to provide a balanced, trauma-informed, and holistic approach that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and emotions. If you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, build healthier boundaries, strengthen your self-trust, and create more space for flexibility and self-compassion, feel free to reach out or schedule a free consultation through my website—I’d be honored to support you!

There are a lot of really good reasons to start therapy. For some this may be be uncovering the authentic self, finding a felt sense of safety, and the confidence to build meaningful and lasting relationships. In my fifteen years of practice I have developed an approach that is intuitive and individualized, blending emotional insight, mind body awareness, and an understanding of your lived experience. I work holistically, identifying the emotional, physical, and situational pieces that shape your inner world. I work with individuals wanting to discover ways to move more authentically and confidently through this moment in their life. Whether that is adjusting to a major life changes, break ups, or dealing with emotional challenges. I provide additional specialized care for those recovering from religious trauma, purity culture, and spiritual abuse. I understand that getting into therapy can be a challenge in its own right. I am happy to walk you through logistical concerns and insurance verifications. All sessions are done through telehealth. I'm a collaborative therapist offering a safe space for reflection, growth, and meaningful change through curiosity and care. I work well with students who are navigating anxiety, transitions, or feeling stuck, and who want to better understand themselves while building sustainable change. My style is warm, reflective, and supportive, with gentle challenge when helpful, always paced to individual needs.
I work primarily with those suffering from chronic illness. Difficult to treat medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, Lupus, etc. are often poorly understood, and it can be very difficult for patients to find the help and support they need. I teach my clients tools for coping with and managing every day life with these conditions, in addition to mind body medicine practices to help alleviate symptoms and to decrease stress. I have recently started offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy as a way to cope with life stressors or trauma.
Do you struggle with daily negative thoughts and low mood? School or work stress? Feeling hopeless about the future and wondering if you will ever feel better? If so, I think we could be a good fit together in therapy. In sessions, I utilize a mix of actively listening and offering concrete tools to help you feel better and reach your goals. These tools are from research-backed treatments called cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I also enjoy incorporating my sense of humor and positive demeanor to help you feel understood and motivated during our treatment together. I am licensed in New York and Massachusetts. My practice is currently virtual. In addition to my private practice, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College, where I teach psychology and psychiatry graduate students. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer your questions and see whether I would be a good fit for your therapy goals.
