Hi, I'm Caily and I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a passion for helping young adults feel empowered, understood, and supported. I earned my Master's degree from Bridgewater State University (2020) after completing my undergraduate degree at Emmanuel College (2017). I know therapy can feel intimidating at first, so I work hard to create a space where you can feel safe to show up exactly as you are. We’ll collaborate to define what you want to get out of therapy, and then break those goals into small, meaningful, and achievable steps. If you are interested in setting up an initial consult, please contact me via email or find me on Headway!

You are smart and capable but are struggling right now. Emotions are coming up that are uncomfortable and are making the life you want to live just harder. Whether it's old stuff like self-esteem or new stuff like grief or cultural adjustment, I work with you to help you get back on a healthier and happier path. I work with you in a very active yet nurturing manner. My style is direct, compassionate, yet a bit playful at times. :) You are unique and every therapist is not a perfect match for everyone. Due to that, I give a free 50-minute consultation prior to us committing to work together. Two things to know about my practice is that I am online only and that I am not on insurance panels (if you have out-of-network benefits, that might help with the cost). If you think we might be a good match, check out my website and then reach out for a consultation. :)

I've been working as an outpatient therapist for over 12 years and have found I work well with humans in their late teens/early 20's. I use humor and a dynamic approach to treatment and I've found I work well with people who are interested in making some type of change in their life.
I offer a warm approach in helping you through what is going on for you, including anxiety, depression, addictions/binge eating, and relationship issues. I use some elements of CBT, motivation interviewing, and can offer other approaches such as EMDR and Brainspotting.
I enjoy working with young adults who are transitioning into more independence and finding what resonates for them as far as careers, family, friends, fun, and overall feelings towards themselves. I facilitate art therapy directives in session to help us find solutions to questions, feel better overall, self-soothe, augment self confidence, and have fun in the process of creating--because we are all creating our lives, all the time. College, whether undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral level, is a time of growth, hard work, and unknowns. Our therapy sessions are a comfortable and safe haven for what is important to you. As a neurodivergent clinician, I have found myself particularly well suited to working with clients with ADHD, AuDHD, PTSD, PDA and/or who are autistic. I also have over a 15 years of experience working with trauma survivors and LGBTQ+ communities. Many of my clients found past experiences of talk therapy unhelpful or helpful only as “maintenance” while larger issues were neglected. I focus on two specific therapies, EMDR and IFS, that go deeper to address underlying issues. I also center the unique needs of neurodivergent clients and include ways to help manage distress and recognize stressors. For many neurodivergent clients, therapy approaches such as CBT have backfired. For example, treating autistic burnout with strategies from CBT to manage depression can actually worsen exhaustion and burnout. Similarly, using exposure therapy to address anxiety primarily caused by social and sensory issues related to ADHD or autism may cause further distress. I center neurodivergent experiences in my approach to therapy and help clients explore strategies to reduce sensory and emotional overload and recover from burnout. If you are finding yourself spending your energy just trying to get through the day, it is time to start working towards a better future. Let's work together to help you level up your life.
