To say life can feel overwhelming at times would be an understatement. Between work, relationships and the demands of daily life, it’s easy to feel stressed or unsure of how to move forward. You don’t have to navigate those stressors alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to process what you’re experiencing and develop tools to help you feel more grounded and confident. Whether you’re going through a major life change or simply feeling like things have become harder to manage, therapy can be a place to get support and make meaningful change. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with teenagers and adults in a variety of settings. My approach can be described as authentic, warm, and conversational. I incorporate components of cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive restructuring, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing in sessions. If you are ready to take the first step in prioritizing you, let's connect! I am happy to meet for a complimentary 15-20 minute video consult to discuss your therapy needs and see if we are a good fit.

I work best with students who are trying to better understand themselves. You may be questioning who you are, navigating different parts of your identity, or feeling pulled in multiple directions by family, culture, relationships, school, or your own expectations. Maybe you’ve spent so much time taking care of others or trying to meet everyone’s expectations that you’ve lost touch with what you want. I enjoy working with students who are curious about the deeper patterns in their lives. Together, we’ll explore how your experiences, relationships, and identities have shaped the way you see yourself and connect with others. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, perfectionism, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, or questions about identity and belonging, therapy can be a space to make sense of your experiences and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. My goal is to help you develop practical tools for the present while also gaining a deeper understanding of yourself so you can approach your relationships, decisions, and future with greater confidence, self-compassion, and clarity.

I create a warm environment and empower my clients to take back control of their lives. I encourage an active therapy experience where clients learn skills, set weekly goals, and complete homework to build a sense of independence and self-confidence. Whether you're struggling with your self-esteem, anxious thoughts, work stress, relationships, general motivation or more, I can help! My style is a blend of the following treatment approaches: CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Holistic Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy and Trauma-Informed Therapy. I am always seeking out trainings, books, and podcasts to inform these approaches and provide up-to-date psychoeducation and resources. I look forward to helping you explore and overcome your struggles with compassion, good humor, and evidenced based techniques. I won't be the type of therapist who just sits backs and nods. I want to help you with active problem solving and building skills. It may be helpful to know that I am a married mom of a 4 year old boy and dog mom of 8 year old doodle. I am a real person navigating life's ups and downs just like you and I'm happy to share parts of my personal life (mistakes and all) if I feel that it helps enhance the therapy process. I have a proven record of success and would be honored to be chosen for your therapy journey. I look forward to connecting soon.

Great to meet you! In my work as a therapist, I have had the privilege of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. My approach is grounded in building therapeutic relationships based in affirming care and empathy. I strive to create a warm, relatable environment that allows people to be grow, laugh, cry (sometimes), and feel safe to peel back their own layers and explore themselves. A bit about my approach to therapy: When providing therapy services, I always take a relational approach with the folks I am serving. I think it is important that people feel comfortable, heard, and like they are talking to another person as opposed to a robot. What you can expect from our first session: During our first session, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy, what previous mental health treatment you have had if any, and what you hope therapy can do for you.

At times in our lives we need additional support to navigate challenges and strengthen our internal capacity to cope. Together we will strive to understand your unique story and identify areas you want to work on in our meetings. Often this means increasing your awareness of patterns, understanding your own emotional responses, and strengthening coping skills. My style as a therapist is collaborative, relational, and strengths based. I use multiple treatment modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a treatment that facilitates healing from emotional distress from difficult life experiences, as well as solution focused and cognitive behavioral techniques. Road Back Therapy
I am a short-term therapist who works specifically with clients with chronic health conditions. Over the course of 20 sessions, we learn all about what is happening in your body and brain, learn and practice coping skills to manage anxiety related to your chronic medical condition, and have the option to complete hypnotherapy for chronic illness as well. If you are struggling with mental health related to a chronic health condition, and especially if you are experiencing high amounts of anxiety and low quality of life related to health symptoms, you will be a great fit for what I provide. If you have never done therapy before, or if you have found that your current therapist doesn’t quite “get it,” and you’re hoping to work with someone that has an intimate knowledge of chronic illness and hospital systems, then you will be a great fit. I also work alongside your full-time therapist if you have a therapist you love and would like to stay with while we complete our work together. I am also a good fit for someone who is specifically seeking out an LGBTQ therapist. I only offer virtual therapy at this time.
