Hearth Counseling provides therapy in the Raleigh area and the state of North Carolina for adults, couples, mothers, families, and adolescents. We see clients virtually and in person. We support clients who are struggling with depression, trauma, men's issues, women's issues, ADHD, addiction, anxiety, infertility, LGBTQIA+, trauma, life transitions, pregnancy, and postpartum issues.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)- CBT is used to help you understand and learn skills to challenge unhelpful or maladaptive thinking and behavioral patterns Mindfulness- Mindfulness techniques are used to teach you how to relate to your thoughts differently and to live in the moment

Welcome! I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for disordered eating, eating disorders, and anxiety/perfectionism. I am extensively trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is an action-based therapy which helps individuals accept challenging emotions and experiences while doing what works and is meaningful to them - moving towards the life they want to live. ACT is an evidence-based treatment for eating disorders, as well as anxiety, depression, OCD, and chronic pain. For the past five years, I have worked in eating disorder treatment at all levels of care. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

Hi! I provide outpatient therapy virtually. My style can be described as direct, compassionate, and goal oriented. I don't want you to feel like you're just venting and talking in circles (unless you're needing sessions to just vent vs change). I take a collaborative approach where we will decide together what goals are best and what we want to do to meet those. I can support you in working through a multitude of things from perfectionism, stress management, relationship struggles, trauma, and chronic suicidal ideation or struggles with self harm. Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (North Carolina) and Licensed Professional Counselor (South Carolina) based out of Charlotte, NC. She works with women in their young adult years or 30's. Many of Brooke's client's come in feeling depressed, anxious and overwhelmed. It is not uncommon for one of Brooke's clients to say they feel like something is off because of a reaction they are having to a recent loss or past trauma. Brooke's goal is that everyone leaves feeling seen, heard and like their experiences and reactions to life events make a little more sense. She believes that everyone has a valuable story to tell and considers it a joy and privilege to hear that story and identify the themes and effects the story has on the client's life.
