If you are reading this then I invite you to take a moment to appreciate what you have done. Despite the pain you are in, you have taken an important step toward change. Those whom I work with all have one thing in common—pain. Regardless of its form, nervousness, sadness, substance misuse, difficult thoughts, and/or traumatic memories, attempting to cope with this pain has led to more suffering. There now exists a gap between the life they are living and the one they desire. Life has become about avoiding, numbing, or distracting the pain away. Does this sound like you? If so, know this—you’re not broken, you’re stuck. My approach to stuckness involves working together to explore new methods for interacting with pain, ones that don’t result in more suffering. We will work to cultivate clarity around where you have been and where you’d like to go; giving you a deeper understanding of how to create a rich and meaningful life despite the pain. My counseling draws from a foundation of empathy, positive regard, and congruence. I incorporate ACT, CBT, and CPT into my work. Utilizing various treatment modalities allows me to tailor my approach to meet your unique needs. Add in a healthy dose of metaphors, humor, and hands-on practice to create an experience that is informative and transformational.
I see you as a whole person—not a problem to fix. In our work together, I honor your identity and abilities while also acknowledging the very real barriers, exhaustion, and inequities you may encounter every day. My goal is to support you in navigating a world that isn’t always built with you in mind—without asking you to erase or override who you are. I am committed to providing Neuro- and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy on your terms and to meet you where you are. Whether you struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, focus and concentration, relationships, life transitions, or just being a human in the world today, you are welcome here--all of you. Let down the mask and lets figure out how to feel better together!

By partnering with her clients, she helps them discover individualized ways to meet their goals within their lifestyle and budget. She works with adults, focusing on areas such as healthy eating, intuitive eating, weight management, cooking skills, food safety, and Type 2 Diabetes management.

Author Shannon Bream inspired the name through her book, The Women of the Bible Speak”, which entails the wisdom of 16 women in the bible and their lessons for today. The book provides a sense of hope and light to the reader. When women of God speak, you’re wise to listen, take notes, and learn. Hi! I have a 5 lb. Maltese and Hunter, my 115 lb. German Shepherd. I grew up on a farm and animals are incredibly important to me. They teach us so much about ourselves and have the capacity to unconditionally love us and at times, they can really challenge us. That's what therapy is all about - unconditional positive regard and pushing us to be our best selves. I work with females; ages pre-teens to adulthood and their families. Anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm behaviors, relational issues, and emotional challenges are among my specialties. I love helping those find their purpose, path, and inspiration!

Hi I'm Alison Cross! I am a psychotherapist, and I provide both in person and virtual services in Georgia and North Carolina. It’s important to have an idea of what feels like the right fit when you’re looking for a qualified person to talk to. The problem is, how do you know? So here's what it looks like with me. When my client leaves our session, my goal is for them to feel heard and respected. I want my clients to feel like they’re talking to a real person. How else can trust be built? My style has been described as 'down to earth, gentle, and encouraging.' I also have a great sense of humor that comes in only when appropriate. I view therapy as a safety net for the various issues clients bring. I will collaborate with you from the very first session on goals for your time. Some people I work with prefer to set the agenda for our time together, with just a few interjections from me. Understanding the big picture and getting to the heart of the matter are things I'm good at. I have also completed the Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems and Level 1 training in the Embodied Reocvery Model. I love using these models because they are beautifully client focused. My goal is to develop a positive therapeutic relationship with you. When that happens, hope is tangible and the spirit opens to new life and new beginnings. All sessions with me will be virtual unless I'm in Atlanta and we can coordinate an in person session.
Life can feel heavy sometimes, but you don’t have to carry it all alone. Hey, I'm Zuriah! I offer a culturally affirming, down-to-earth space for individuals and couples navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Therapy with me is a no-judgment zone where you can show up as you are, exhale, and feel truly seen. Whether you’re overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or tired of being the one who always has to hold it together, we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your life and relationships.
