I am a Postdoctoral psychologist who works with individuals that are hoping to improve their relationship with themselves and with others. I have experience working with adults across the lifespan experiencing a variety of difficulties. My area of specialty is with clients who have a history of disordered eating patterns, as well as a history of trauma. In therapy I encourage clients to be curious about their experiences, and my hope is that together we will deepen our understanding of how your past may be currently impacting your present. My approach with clients is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe personal change occurs best when we notice how our experiences show up for us mentally and physically, so my work often involves active use of the mind-body connection. I use an integrated trauma-informed approach to treatment, which may include the use of somatic internal family systems, relational, psychodynamic, humanistic, feminist therapy and I incorporate techniques from CBT and DBT when appropriate. I provide embodied centered therapy for people struggling in their relationship with food, all with the goal for clients to foster awareness of self, connection with others, and to reconnect to their capacity for full-bodied engagement with the world. Additionally, I offer comprehensive psychological assessments that include both cognitive and personality assessment tools. These assessments are best suited for individuals who are wondering if they may have ADHD and can help to clarify any other mental health diagnostic questions. The results will be provided to you via a written report, which can be used to further your treatment or to justify accommodations to support your needs. I currently am only seeing clients virtually. Please reach out to connect and see if we’d be a good fit. I look forward to meeting you!

I use cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and systemic framework as vehicles for psychological treatment. I am currently accepting new patients. Let's schedule a free 15-minute consultation and see if we're a good fit. We can then proceed to schedule an appointment. You've already taken the first step towards your wellness by looking for a provider. The time to make a change is now; your future self will thank you!
Oh college, it's "supposed" to be the best days of your life...whoever came up with that needs a serious reality check. I've been through it and have also worked with enough college students, young adults, and adults of all ages to say that for many of us, that statement is completely false. So please know that if you find that these are not the best days (or even if you feel that these are the worst days), you are not alone. There is nothing "wrong" with you and I am here to help. I unfortunately don't have a magic wand to transform your college experience into something you see in the movies, but I provide a combination of medication management and brief supportive therapy (a fancy way of saying I include some therapy during our 30 minute medication follow up appointments) that can help address concerns like depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and mood disorders. I’ll work with you to create a personalized plan that meets your unique needs and helps you achieve your mental health goals. Talking about medication can be daunting. When I prescribe it, my goal isn’t to change who you are, but to help you rediscover what life can be like when your symptoms are managed. While medication won’t solve every issue, it can be a powerful tool alongside therapy and lifestyle changes, enabling you to reclaim your ability to thrive.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with an expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with a wide range of issues including social and generalized anxiety, OCD, panic, depression, self-esteem and emotion-regulation. I also enjoy working with individuals going through significant life transitions, such as adjustment to college, parenting, or divorce. I primarily utilize a CBT approach while integrating mindfulness and other techniques to the work when appropriate. I employ an active, collaborative, and individualistic approach to treatment with a validating stance.
I believe that supportive therapy using a cognitive behavior approach allows people to open up and try new approaches to their problems. Trauma informed care is a major component part of my practice, there are many issues that are rooted in trauma. Understanding your past helps you to face your tomorrows. I have been practicing for over 40 years and still feel passionate about helping people be everything they dream to be. Working on issues that are stopping you from feeling happiness, successful, and peaceful is my goal for you.
Therapy can be scary and I understand how overwhelming it may feel to begin the treatment process. Therefore, it is my goal to create a safe, comfortable and judgement free environment for each of my clients. Together, it is my hope to build a trusting, therapeutic relationship to support each client's healing and growth. I believe that it is my role as a therapist to allow each client to be heard and to guide them through the change process in a way that makes sense for them.
