Soul Vision Wellness is a Holistic Mental Health Practice serving those living all across New York State. It comprises a variety of services including but not limited to Individual & Couples therapy, Clinical Supervision as well as Speaking engagements and events geared towards bringing Mental Health Awareness and wholeness to those in underserved communities. We specialize in treating anxiety by using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, which helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and develop coping strategies. We incorporate mindfulness techniques to promote relaxation and present-moment awareness. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their anxiety triggers, learn practical skills for managing their symptoms, and ultimately build resilience. Our work involves exploring how race and culture influence individuals' experiences, self-perception, and relationships. We help clients navigate the complexities of racial identity, including the impact of systemic racism, cultural heritage, and personal experiences. These approaches help clients identify negative thought patterns, improve their emotional regulation, and enhance their interpersonal relationships. We integrate mindfulness techniques to promote self-awareness and acceptance. Our focus is on creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings, set achievable goals.
Have you ever said, "I feel good when I am dancing/ drawing/ coloring/ writing/ creating art, etc?" Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, or simply haven't been feeling like yourself? Are you looking to let go of these struggles, gain control of your anxiety, become your best self, and enjoy life again? If so, you've come to the right human. I work with women and femmes who enjoy art-making (movement, art, creative writing, etc) to overcome low self-esteem, anxiety, past traumas, and depression using creative arts therapy. Together we use the arts to process and release things we no longer need to hold on to, becoming free, healed, and more in tune with our most authentic, divine self. You deserve a life of joy, prosperity, and wellness. I believe in the power within you to overcome your struggles. Together we will use the arts for your healing. The healing begins with ourselves. From there, we can heal our family, our community, our nation, and then the world.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone. 💛 College can be exciting, but it can also come with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, family pressure, loneliness, academic burnout, and the feeling that everyone else has it together except you. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and trauma-informed therapist, I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can slow down, talk things through, understand yourself better, and build tools that actually work for you. 🌿 You deserve support, not just when things fall apart, but while you’re learning who you are. I treat clients who have anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and transitional issues that cause identity crisis. I also work with Neurodivergent clients including clients who are autistic (ASD). My clients often struggle with their high standards, perfectionism, and wanting to please others. I have a very diverse clientele that includes LGBTQ+, AAPI, Arab Americans, Indian Americans, Pakistani/Bangladeshi Americans, and African Americans. My approach is, we are in this together. I have clients who know why they are seeking therapy, but many clients can’t articulate the specific reason. You don’t need to have a specific reason, but you sought out help because you are ready to address something in your life. I focus on your strengths and skills that can help you address your problems. My approach is to have an open and organic conversation with you while being non judgmental, patient, and actively listening. My clients have said that my interactive style, positive attitude, and humor are reasons they continue to see me. In our initial sessions, we will work to identify the issues you wish to discuss and how they impact your life. I value your perspective and life experience as key components of the therapeutic process. I am always willing to meet with a client for a free consultation via phone or video.
My mission is to cultivate healthy, resilient, and connected athletes, coaches, and communities through trauma-informed, whole-person well-being. As a proud first-generation Korean-Filipina American, my journey as a former elite athlete and two decades as a psychotherapist shape how I approach personal growth and transformation. My approach integrates psychodynamic with trauma-informed, meditative, mindfulness, and mastery performance development for comprehensive healing and optimal performance. I’ve built my practice across New York City’s public, nonprofit, and private sectors, providing specialized training at institutions like NYU Medicine and Health and Hospitals while mentoring emerging practitioners from Columbia, NYU, and other leading programs. My experience as a first-gen Woman of Color, athlete, and parent enriches my therapeutic approach. Los Angeles born, New York City nested, I bring bi-coastal energy to my work, including co-hosting “Hahnacity”—a podcast focused on healing through storytelling—with Joy Hahn Silva Millora, former elite gymnast and now coach. Whether I’m cheering for the Lakers and Dodgers or connecting with “The Steam Room” community, I live the connection between athletic mindset and psychological well-being.
Many of my clients are young adults, college students, graduate students, and working professionals who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, low motivation, self-doubt, or difficulty navigating life transitions. Together, we identify the patterns keeping them stuck, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence in themselves and their future. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, motivation, and self-esteem. Drawing from DBT, mindfulness-based practices, and Adlerian therapy, I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for everyday life. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you can exhale, a place where you don’t have to hold everything together. Healing begins with compassion and connection, and real change happens when we feel understood without judgment. I don’t see my clients as diagnoses or problems to be fixed, but as whole people with complex stories.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.

My approach to therapy is rooted in anti-oppression principles. I have specialized training in trauma practice, particularly around experiences of abuse, violence, and intergenerational trauma. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques, including psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems/parts work, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and other relational approaches. My approach is collaborative and flexible, meaning that clients and I talk through the styles and tools we can use to best fit what they would like to work through. Much of my experience is working with people of color and queer and trans/GNC communities. My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative, fostering individuals’ ability to build resilience, joy, and power. In my practice, I welcome my clients to process things of all sizes (their traumas and their milder annoyances), explore their identities and experiences, and express a wide range of emotions. You can expect direct communication from me, reflections of what I notice about your patterns and processes, questions to deepen both of our understandings of yourself, and invitations for mutual feedback. I value autonomy and will never pressure you to share things you aren't ready to share, or simply do not want to share.

At times, these feelings and situations can make us feel stuck and not know what to do or how to even process what we feel- making us feel worse and hopeless. I have particular experience working with people with religious trauma, which involves processing unhealthy patterns from high-control religious settings and coming into new ways of relating to oneself. I also work with people experiencing grief, anxiety and depression, as well as supporting people who just need to process everyday stressors. I'm deeply honored to come alongside people on their life's journey and support them through whatever they may be struggling with. I also believe that people, even when they are struggling with their mental health, are doing a lot to support themselves, and find great value in supporting and empowering people in our work together. My therapeutic style is eclectic, meaning I draw from multiple approaches and methodologies to best meet each patient's unique needs. While I maintain an eclectic approach, my work tends to lean into the psychodynamic approach, meaning I believe the past affects the present and that when we understand past relationships and patterns, we can better improve our present-day mental health. I also have particular experience with motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and the task-centered approach.
