Hi, I’m Dr. Udo Chukwuocha, a doctoral-prepared psychiatric and family nurse practitioner who offers a supportive and holistic approach to mental health. I work well with college students who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, unmotivated, emotionally stuck, or experiencing sleep and focus issues. Many of my clients are adjusting to big life transitions, juggling school and personal pressures, or trying to make sense of their emotions and habits. I especially enjoy supporting students from BIPOC and immigrant communities, as well as women navigating mood changes related to hormones. If you’ve had negative experiences with mental health care before or felt misunderstood, I strive to create a space that feels inclusive, collaborative, and respectful of your unique background. My approach blends medication management with lifestyle coaching, brief supportive therapy, and integrative tools like supplements and lab testing when helpful. If you're looking for care that looks at the bigger picture—not just symptoms—I’d be glad to support you.
I trained and worked in college and university counseling centers for 15 years before starting my own practice. I understand the unique needs and stressors of college and university settings - especially for non-trad and grad students. You are motivated and high-achieving, but you’re struggling with confidence, navigating how to cope with stress and anxiety, or prioritize taking care of your own needs. I help insightful adults who are struggling to balance multiple roles and responsibilities get clarity on what matters most, see what’s getting in the way of living the life you want, and learn how to find meaning, purpose, and peace. My approach to therapy is strengths based and focuses on resilience and empowerment. You are the expert in your life, and your cultural identities are of the utmost importance. My goal is to create a safe space in which you feel authentically seen and heard. Your values will inform our sessions as we work to better understand you, the context of your life, and what you need to heal, grow, or change. I’d like to be on your team. I can help you: Build confidence Cope with stress and self doubt Prioritize your own needs and continue to show up in all of the areas of your life Feel like you are living life to your full potential If you have an idea of what you want in life, but don’t know how to get there, we can explore deeper insights into yourself and your experiences as you make change or adjust to the changes that are happening around you.

My goal is to bring a warm presence, calm demeanor, and intentionality to the therapeutic space. I understand that building connection and rapport are the foundation to all other therapeutic work and therefore I prioritize an environment where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood without judgement. My purpose as a therapist is to provide that safe place where together we can explore your conscious and unconscious thoughts and gain insight into the parts of your life where you may be having difficulty. I recognize that therapy is a collaborative effort, and that each client is the expert in their own life. Thus, I will work with you to understand your unique life experiences and create a tailored treatment plan so that you can reach healing and wholeness. I will assist you on this journey by helping you understand how past experiences are impacting you, and will help you identify your own strengths, skills, and goals by providing tools that you can use even long after therapy is finished. I have experience supporting needs related to: children and youth, young adults, families, life transitions, drug and alcohol issues, trauma, attachment challenges, co-dependency, self-esteem, depression, suicidal ideation, grief, and anxiety.

Do you feel stuck relationally, emotionally, or in your career path? There are explanations for this behavior and ways to change it. I love helping people learn how to have healthy boundaries with others, their work, or some other habit they are concerned about. Therapy is sometimes the first positive step that represents caring for yourself. It is an acknowledgement that you are worth the effort. I am an ally regardless of race, culture, physical ability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, immigration status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or spiritual beliefs. Many people experience symptoms of anxiety and depression because they are currently OR have been in relation (family, friend, partner, co-worker, etc) to another person who has OR has had a substance or other behavioral problem. The negative effects can be long-lasting, confusing, and persist without treatment. If this is a familiar for you, call me.

As a University of Oregon Graduate, I understand the challenges students can face. College can be presented as a fun experience where you meet new people and prepare for your future. While we all hope this is the case, sometimes life happens. The pressure of classes, grades, family, or personal challenges can get in the way of your experience. Having the right support system and tools to navigate life as a student is important, and I am here to help.
Therapy is a journey of healing, growth, self discovery and so much more. Each person brings with them a different story and unique perspective, which gives us the opportunity to meet you where you are in that moment, with empathy and support. At Steps to Change, LLC we frequently work with people around life transitions, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality, acute and chronic trauma issues, self empowerment, parenting, chronic illness (invisible and visible) as well as grief and loss. We enjoy working with individuals in a welcoming space that is created together through the therapeutic relationship. We believe the role of the therapist is to be there as a guide in the process of helping you trust your inner self more and assist in learning new coping strategies to better manage the adversities in life. All services are via Tele-Health, which gives the Client the comfort of their items and space during the sessions, often helping to feel more secure. Please email to schedule an appointment as written communication works best. Hours of availability are Monday-Wednesday with no evening availability. Our hope is that we are able to work together towards reaching your goals and creating change through interpersonal growth.
Many of my clients come to me with emotional wounds. They often felt invisible, rejected, devalued, or deeply hurt by others. They learned to adapt to the unsupportive environment by judging themselves, tensing up, trying to control everything, disconnecting from themselves, numbing their feelings, not trusting others, hiding, or trying to please everyone. As time goes by, these strategies stop working and become symptoms we label as depression, anxiety, disordered eating, substance use, PTSD, self-harm, etc. I work with clients to break free from the past and live life in the way they want. I offer a safe space where clients feel seen, accepted and empowered. I collaborate with clients to set goals and identify/build on their strengths. I use body-based therapies (EMDR, SP, Mindfulness, etc) to help clients resolve past trauma. I incorporate ACT and DBT to help clients manage stressors more effectively and live more meaningful/fulfilling lives. As a BIPOC psychologist and bilingual immigrant, I have extensive experience serving clients with marginalized identities. I show curiosity and respect to client’s lived experiences related to their identities and feel honored to be able to support clients in breaking barriers and living up to their full potentials. If any of these speak to you, let’s chat!
Aloha, my name is Mahina. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and sole practitioner / owner of Honu Healing LLC, offering individual psychotherapy to adults of all ages and walks of life. Many of the people wanting my support are feeling burdened by anxiety, sadness, or grief, overwhelmed by a variety of stressors, or simply worn down by internal and external elements. Sometimes these experiences lead to self-defeating/sabotaging thoughts and behaviors, feeling disconnected from oneself or others, or struggling with cycles of shame and self-doubt. While these challenges are deeply human, they often impact our relationships, sense of security and identity, ability to be our authentic selves, and our capacity to fully function. It is my heartfelt honor to support individuals through current or lifelong challenges. I specialize in helping adults navigate traumatic experiences, grief, transitions, spirituality, and stress related to school, work, or relationships. I am here to help and guide you with effective, lasting solutions to persistent struggles. My approach is tailored to your unique needs and goals. “It’s always best to believe in one’s self, but a little help from others can be a great blessing!” I view each person as the main character in their book of life. Each book contains stories of joy, sadness, exploration, struggle, and most importantly, HOPE. My goal to assist in exploring these stories, whether you encounter depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, intersectional struggles, or self-esteem issues...I am especially sensitive to those impacted by LGBTQ issues, religious minorities, activists, uniformed public servants, and those experiencing depression. I utilize a multiculturally sensitive approach, borrowing from ACT, DBT, MBCT, mindfulness, narrative, and solution-focused therapies to develop a collaborative and eclectic style to treatment, tailored to your needs. Cultures all over the world have a common truth: life is suffering. Through therapy, I hope to create a safe and empowering environment to help you withstand and overcome that suffering. I welcome you to reach out to start this journey.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.
I help clients recover from anxiety and depression and improve social relationships. I offer an insight-oriented approach. I also do EMDR and parts work. These modalities are helpful for trauma recovery and changing unhappy patterns. My goals are for clients to feel supported and understood. I recognize that each person has their own, internal wisdom. I like to understand and honor this wisdom as I work with you to build better mental health.
