Therapy is more about building new associations, making new, healthier default pathways. It is almost as if therapy is taking your two-lane dirt road and building a four-lane freeway alongside it. The old road stays, but you don’t use it much anymore. Therapy is building a better alternative, a new default. And that takes repetition, and time, honestly, it works best if someone understands how the brain changes. This is why understanding how trauma impacts our health is essential for everyone.” ~ Dr. Bruce Perry I am a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years of experience in various mental health settings such as Outpatient facilities, Inpatient hospitals, Crisis Center, but mainly in public and private alternative school settings. I DO TELEHEALTH I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief and loss and bipolar disorder, school/work adjustment and stress. You might feel overwhelmed and alone with so many obligations and responsibilities. Maybe you are under constant pressure and you don't see room for change. It's hard to see a possibility for change when you keep looking at the problem with one perspective, your own perspective. Let's talk about it, you are not alone. I have years experience in community health and private practice. I've worked with people at all levels of function, resources, financial support or crisis. The one true constant for those people I've been fortunate enough to work with is that personal resources are already inside them. Sometimes people have trouble accessing these strengths or they may be burred by noisy negative self-talk, worn out or unhelpful ideas about ourselves and other emotional baggage. I'm here to help so give me a call. I am currently offering telehealth sessions and this is covered by most insurances.

At The Center, we understand how important it is to find the right person to help. I specialize in the assessment of neurological, developmental and learning challenges. As a neuropsychologist and certified school psychologist, most of my time is spent on neuropsychological evaluations for educational purposes, helping students with developmental delays, learning disabilities, ADHD and brain injuries, including concussions. Over the years, my services have grown with my patients to include services for adults with these same challenges as well. I am on staff at Doylestown Hospital and, as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), I serve as the neuropsychological consultant to the Bucks County IU’s BrainSTEPS Program, where we work to help students with concussions and severe brain injuries re-enter school successfully.
