The goal of our time together will be to help nurture healthy change with you in mind by learning about you as a person and your emotional needs and reducing negative feelings of anxiety, anger, guilt, and shame. Everyone at one point or another has had difficulty in their lives. Sometimes, we are aware of problems that are causing us distress, other times, we just can’t seem to figure out “what is wrong”. My aim as your potential counselor is to provide support, and guidance, and provide a nonjudgmental space for you to seek clarity using a collaborative approach. I understand that seeking help can be frightening, but you are not alone on this journey. Many of us fear sharing our private pain, hurt feelings, or concerns stirring us emotionally. Anxiety is a normal part of talking to a therapist about your challenges. Only you are your own expert but I am here to help you build a space in which you can identify and understand what goals you want to achieve using a solution-focused approach. My primary area of focus is on depression and anxiety and attempting to alleviate and reduce symptoms while also building a strong foundation to be able to cope with events that may be inevitable. I hope to connect with you and start work to help you work on a continuous path of seeking clarity, peace, and well-being. I'm a therapist with Octave and Evernorth Behavioral Care Group. Octave is a mental health practice providing high-quality care covered by multiple insurances. Evernorth Behavioral Care Group is a behavioral health provider group in-network with Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth. For my availability, please reach out to Octave’s team by emailing or calling.

You are 20 and you have already cried in three different bathrooms this semester. The friend group from freshman year quietly disappeared. The situationship is in its eighth round of "we are figuring it out." The professor who said your paper was "interesting" in a tone that meant something else has been living in your head for two weeks. You are tired in a way that sleep does not fix. I work with college aged women and young adults who are doing everything they were told to do and somehow feel further from themselves than they have ever been. The girls who got into college on perfectionism and are now watching that same perfectionism eat them alive. The ones who left a religious or controlling home and are realizing, in real time, what it actually cost them. The ones whose body image got worse, not better, when they got here. The ones who keep ending up in the same kind of relationship with a different person and cannot figure out why. The ones who looked around the dining hall and realized everyone else seems to have a friend group already and felt something crack a little. I do EMDR for trauma, which is the work I love most. It is especially useful when something specific from your past keeps showing up uninvited in your present. The breakup that should not still hurt this much. The thing that happened in high school you have never really told anyone. The childhood version of you who learned to make herself small and is still doing it. We can also just talk. My process is flexible and so am I. Some sessions are heavy. Some sessions you tell me about your week and we laugh. Both are doing real work. I am licensed in Oklahoma, Texas, and Massachusetts. If you are at school in one and home for the summer in another, we can keep going without starting over with someone new.

My name is Amy Hollis, I am an LCSW in the Fort Worth area. I graduated from Texas Christian University and Brite Divinity School in 2019 where I received a dual degree LMSW and M.Div. respectively. In 2025 I was able to obtain my LCSW and I now work full time as a private practice counselor and adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University! My biggest achievement has been the ability to work with amazing clients in all times of life, and walk with them through transitions that seem scary and new. As part of the BIPOC and LGBT+ communities I have a heart for those who find themselves at the margins and truly enjoy being a safe space for all people to tell their stories. I do hope to hear from you soon and get a chance to chat!

You do not have to have it all figured out to start. Life has a way of throwing challenges at us that feel impossible to navigate alone, especially when you are a student trying to find your path or a professional struggling to keep your head above water. I provide a down to earth, judgment free space where you can finally drop the perfect act and focus on what is actually happening. My goal is not just to help you cope, but to help you build a life that feels balanced and authentic. We focus on moving beyond the performance of being fine so you can start living with actual relief. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative partnership. I specialize in helping clients work through high-functioning Anxiety, OCD, Eating Disorders, and Body Image concerns. We look at the root of these struggles while building practical tools you can use every day. From the complexities of relationship conflict and substance use to the unique challenges of Perinatal Mental Health, I provide specialized support for the stages of life that change us the most. Using a trauma-informed and psychodynamic approach, we explore how your past experiences shape your present, helping you gain the insight needed to move forward with confidence. I blend professional expertise with a personal understanding of life’s major transitions. I reject the one size fits all checklist in favor of strategies tailored to your unique goals and experiences. Whether we are addressing family dynamics or the intense reality of becoming a new parent, our sessions are a space for you to be seen and supported without the fluff of You don't have to have it figured out to start. Whether you're a student finding your footing or someone quietly struggling beneath a put-together exterior, I offer a down-to-earth, judgment-free space to drop the perfect act and focus on what's actually going on. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, body image, and relationship stress — and I take a trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach to get to the root, not just the surface. We build tools you can actually use, tailored to your life and goals. Reach out — let's figure out the rest together. *Insurance & Fees* I am an out of network provider and provide a superbill to be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. My office is happy to assist in verifying your benefits and with initial submission processes to ensure your focus stays on your mental health. I also offer a sliding scale rate if appropriate. Please reach out to learn more about how we can start building a more fulfilling life together.

College can be amazing—and brutal. I remember when I was in college: papers, jobs, family stuff, breakups… and how stress can wake up old hurts. I’m Brandon Rodriguez, LCMHC (EMDR-certified), and I help students who feel stuck by trauma, panic, bad memories, or constant worry. How EMDR helps: we identify the moments your brain keeps replaying (accidents, losses, bullying, assaults, chaotic homes, medical scares). With simple bilateral techniques—like brief sets of eye movements—we help your nervous system reprocess those memories so they feel farther away and less intense. You don’t have to give every detail, and you stay in control the whole time. Most students say the memory is still there, but it doesn’t run the show anymore. Sessions are calm and practical. Each week you leave with do-now tools for sleep, panic, and focus; when you’re ready, we use EMDR to reduce the grip of past experiences. Telehealth statewide, evenings available, new clients within ~7 days. Medicaid and United/Optum and many more insurances accepted; sliding scale offered as well. You set the pace—I’ll guide the process. You are worth it, and I am listening.

Hi, I’m Albertina, but most call me Tina. First, I want to say thank you for being here. Taking the time to look for a therapist is a huge first step, and I’m glad you’re taking it. I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping people navigate life’s transitions, ongoing stress, and relationship challenges without feeling completely overwhelmed. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, trauma, or the heavy weight of a major life change, I provide a space where you can finally feel heard and supported. Think of me like a "Big Sister" in your corner, someone who is going to listen, keep it real with you, and support you as you figure things out. My approach is collaborative and solution focused. Together, we’ll work on: • Strengthening your communication skills. • Developing practical coping strategies for everyday life. • Building resilience and self-awareness. • Creating lasting change that actually aligns with your personal goals and values. I believe therapy should fit your needs, not the other way around. Our sessions can be as formal or as casual as you need them to be to feel successful. My personal mission is to change the world one person at a time, and I’d love to see if you’re that person today. Reaching out can feel difficult when you’ve been carrying so much on your own, but you don’t have to navigate this alone. You don’t have to have it all together here. Just come as you are, and we will work together to help you become the person you wish to be.
