I offer compassionate therapy for anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, relationship challenges, and trauma. I create a safe and affirming space for individuals and couples from all walks of life, including the LGBTQ+ community. As a multicultural individual who has lived in several countries, I understand the profound impact of living and working outside one's own culture, often without the familiar support of family and friends. The pursuit of a successful career can demand significant sacrifices, and I recognize the losses that often accompany the gains. Living far from home, navigating a new culture, and missing your loved ones can leave you feeling isolated and overwhelmed. It affects your well-being and relationships. If you're seeking a path towards healing and growth, I'm here to support you. Let's connect – schedule a free 15-minute consultation today.
My Ideal Client: You’re someone who feels deeply, overthinks often, and is trying to hold it all together—even when it’s hard. Whether you’re a teen navigating friendships and self-esteem, a parent trying to support your child through family conflict, or an individual feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, you want support that’s real, compassionate, and effective. You may not have all the answers, but you’re open to exploring what’s next. You’re ready to feel heard, gain tools to cope, and take meaningful steps toward feeling more confident and connected.
If you’re reading this, you might be carrying more than you feel you can manage on your own—and I want you to know you’re not alone. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, or family struggles that have left them feeling tired, discouraged, or unsure of what to do next. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can breathe a little easier and feel genuinely understood.
Hi there! I'm passionate about helping students who want to work through Complex PSTD or complex trauma, functional depression & anxiety, and self esteem concerns. My goal is to help you get unstuck from a cycle of over functioning, people pleasing, disconnection and overwhelm, to a place of grounding, clarity and connection. I don’t see therapy as a one size fits all approach; I enjoy fostering a space that’s gender affirming and body positive, as well as sex positive and kink friendly/affirming. I also strive to provide a warm, supportive and judgment-free space that is culture affirming and trauma informed, with an understanding that you are the expert on your life. In my opinion, one of the most important factors in getting to a place of grounding and healing, is having a strong connection and fit with your therapist. In our work together, you’ll find that my style is warm, compassionate, and empathetic. From a person-centered approach, I like to pull in from different therapies and tools as needed depending on what is going on for you. I’m not afraid to talk about anything you need to! I approach things from a place of curiosity and non-judgment.

**Accepting clients who reside in Georgia or Texas.** Having worked on college campuses in admissions, academic advising, and career counseling, I love working with college-age students and the unique stressors that this season of life can bring upon them. When I meet with young adults, I often hear comments like, “I’m overwhelmed and stressed, and I just can’t get out of my own head” or “This situation or this challenging relationship is leaving me frustrated and stuck, and I don’t know what to do about it.” Navigating relationships with others can be challenging when we are confused about what we can control in the situation. I know because I, too, have struggled with how to handle difficult people and difficult relationships in my life. This means that you are not alone in the challenges that you may be facing right now. I'd love to work with you through this difficult season. I also provide Career Exploration Coaching for clients who are looking for extra support on decision-making for choices of major/minor or potential career paths that fit them best. I'd love to help you through this process.

Ramir's Counseling Center of Hope was created by a Licensed Professional Counselor who had a vision to encourage, motivate and provide access to tools needed to overcome current circumstances. Ramir stands for Rising Above My Inner Rival. Ramir is confirmation that we can accomplish anything regardless of the opposition we face. On March 7, 2018 the Ramir's Counseling Center of Hope, PLLC was established and confirmation was received that the storm was not meant to last always. As a child, mental health was present in my family and thus prepared me for the dynamics of not only the diagnosis but more importantly the person and those that surround them. Growing up, I played a part and everyone was treated the same regardless of their mental status, pill count, change in mood, IQ, anxiety level or temporary isolation that would occur. We, as a family, understood what it would take to maintain our family. My goal as a Licensed Professional Counselor is to provide an environment that reciprocates what my family and community offered. There is no special formula that can erase your situation but there is a way to get through it. The Inner Rival is the battle we have within, which is usually hidden from the world. Although at times, what we are facing is situational, it has an effect on us internally. The purpose of Ramir's Counseling Center of Hope, PLLC, is to work with each client to expose, address and conquer whatever that may be. So, I ask, are you ready? Below you will find my educational background. Education: University of North Texas Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Minor in Social Science Certificate in Substance Abuse Studies Amberton University Master of Arts in Professional Counseling *I am a Therapist licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
