We've all heard that life is about balance, but who teaches us how to find that balance? It's hard enough under normal circumstances, but when life throws a curveball that changes your routine, it can feel like you're walking a tightrope. Add other people's needs and expectations to the mix, and finding balance for yourself can seem downright impossible. You don't have to navigate it on your own - I'm here to help! Let's work together to help you become a happier, healthier version of yourself. My therapy sessions are a space for the helpers, healers, carers, and people-pleasers that I work with, to prioritize their OWN needs. At bare minimum, you can count on being seen and acknowledged for who you are, not just for what you can provide or achieve. This on its own can be healing, and will serve as the foundation for our work together. I take a very collaborative approach to treatment, and recognize you as the expert of your own goals, needs, and experiences. Together we'll identify what parts of your life feel out of whack, how you'd like things to look different, and what manageable and realistic steps you can take to get there. We'll gently challenge any thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and beliefs that might be keeping you stuck. I also like to teach tools and skills that you can use outside of our sessions to help combat anxiety, improve communication, make difficult decisions, avoid impulsive responses, and cope with life's challenges. I am a strong believer that therapy should be a partnership. Like any strong relationship, the therapeutic relationship needs to be built on trust. I strive for transparency at every step. If I'm teaching a particular skill, I'll tell you about the science behind the skill and why it works. When it comes to mental health diagnoses, we're gonna talk through it together. It shouldn't feel like the work is happening mysteriously behind a curtain - I'm always happy to explain why I'm asking certain questions and where my head is at during our sessions. In the vast majority of situations, I believe that people are just trying to survive in the best way they know how. Your responses may not be serving you well at this juncture in life, but they got you this far, and I think it's important to honor that. If you are seeking therapy, you've already overcome adversity and have some amazing resilience and survival skills. My job is to help you build upon those strengths that you already have. I genuinely look forward to working with you!
Has traditional talk therapy not quite worked for you? I'd love to help you try something different! While talking things out can often hold a lot of value, I don't believe it should be the only tool in the toolbox. I want to help you heal from what you're struggling with, not just cope. I help my clients get to the root of their inner experiences and feel more connected to themselves, their life, and others. I specialize in helping people compassionately navigate their inner world- working through experiences like anxiety, depression, trauma, people pleasing, self worth, identity, relational struggles, and perfectionism. We'll connect to your emotions, understand how your inner world came to be, and move towards connecting to your most grounded, authentic self. I am trained in internal family systems (IFS) and use it as my primary approach. I value the relationship between the mind and body; also incorporating somatic, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and values work. In our work together, you will experience collaboration, careful listening, encouragement, and humor. I believe you are the expert of your own life and my role is to support you in strengthening your relationship with yourself! If you're interested in working together, please feel free to reach out. I offer a free 15 minute video consultation!

My goal for you is to provide a safe space that allows you to explore those areas of your life that are hindering you showing up as your best self. My practice style is one of a whole person approach, taking into consideration your own personal world, the interactions, challenges, successes and your supportive relationships. My practice approach is tailored to your needs and may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR/ Trauma Therapy, Goal-Oriented Brief Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, as well as yoga and meditation if that resonates with you and your path of healing. What makes Restoration Psychology different? We know you have various options for treatment providers and therapy. Restoration Psychology is deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive treatment for all people. We strive to help our clients restore mental well being and reduce psychological stress. We know that each individual and family has a unique set of needs and cultural values that can impact treatment. Our clinicians work hard to understand our clients from a bio-psycho-social- spiritual lens. We want to tailor each treatment approach to fit your needs. We are a full-service counseling center specializing in faith-based counseling through a unique bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens aimed at integrating the full self by renewing what has been damaged, revitalizing what has decayed, and rebuilding what has deteriorated. In order to do this, we must explore each aspect of the individual—their physical characteristics (race, ethnicity, health issues etc.), mental/emotional states, relationships with others (including family and community groups), and faith convictions. This allows us to take the first step of the journey toward restoration. Because spiritual belief influences one’s worldview, it also greatly influences the individual and is, therefore, an important aspect to be explored. We promise to work with you where you are, no matter your faith background. We will provide a safe space for you to confront any issues that arise in a judgment-free environment.
I am currently seeing clients throughout Colorado via telehealth, as well as a local office for in person in Grand Junction CO. Adults I work with are often struggling with trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, codependency, or caregiver stress and feel stuck despite insight or past therapy. They may experience emotional reactivity, shutdown, dissociation, or repeating relational patterns and want deeper change. I help clients move beyond talk therapy using EMDR as a primary approach, supported by parts work and integrative mental health principles. Together we process stuck experiences, reduce emotional intensity, and build greater stability, clarity, and internal capacity for lasting change. I specialize in EMDR therapy for trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and codependency. I’m certified in integrative mental health and also use parts work and other trauma-informed approaches. I help clients process stuck experiences, reduce emotional intensity, and build greater stability, clarity, and balance. You may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overwhelm, shutdown, or relationship struggles that haven’t shifted despite your efforts. I offer a supportive, structured space to help you process what feels heavy and create real change. If this resonates, you’re welcome to reach out when you’re ready.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma-informed care, crisis stabilization, and supportive interventions for individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Whether you’re facing a moment of crisis or working through the longer road of recovery, I am here to walk alongside you. My work is rooted in crisis response, de-escalation, and community-based behavioral health care. I believe that everyone deserves compassionate, accessible support during life's most difficult moments, and am committed to being a steady, grounded presence when you need it most. My goal is to help you find stability, safety, and a clear path toward ongoing care. When we work together, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. I draw on person-centered and strengths-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), to help you build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My style is collaborative and adaptive, meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your unique experiences, goals, and the pace that feels right for you. Above all, I am passionate about helping you access the support and stability you deserve. My path to becoming a therapist grew from a deep calling to support people through high-stress and vulnerable moments in their lives. That calling shaped not only the work I chose, but how I show up for it every day. Each experience along the way deepened my commitment to providing care that is both accessible and compassionate, particularly for those who need it most. In my practice now, I bring a grounded, empathetic presence to every session, and am honored to be a part of your journey toward healing. When I’m not working, I cherish time with the people who matter most to me, especially my daughter, family, and friends. I also enjoy getting outside, watching movies, and finding small, everyday moments to slow down and recharge. These moments of connection and rest are what keep me present and energized for the work I love.
Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. It's important to find someone that you can relate to and most importantly someone that you trust. We will work together to create a secure relationship, where you begin to feel less alone experiencing emotional vulnerability. My capacity to truly see you, and your capacity to feel comfortable being seen, will be essential to your healing. It is my belief that lasting growth does not occur as a result of insight and understanding alone. Deep healing and change happen when you are able to explore new emotional experiences and to try new behaviors, in the presence of a supportive person (therapist). I work with adults and older adolescents to address old wounds, to increase self compassion and to develop increased emotional stability and flexibility. If you are interested in learning more about me and my practice, please visit my website or email/call to schedule a brief phone consultation.
The most important part of building a therapeutic relationship is to know that I am not the expert of your life. I use empathy and create a non-judgmental environment, allowing humor and the collaborative effort to work towards realistic goals. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease to tell your story and work on the current challenges taking place in your life. I want this to be a team effort and establish the goals you are wanting. My role is to provide comfort and support, as you develop and discover through the therapeutic process.
I believe in the inherent worth of each person – a value that can be easier to understand than to apply to us in practice, but progress is best achieved when starting from a foundation of self-acceptance. That’s where I come in. I am a therapist specializing in emotional and somatic processing, parts work, and Mindfulness-based interventions for those with complex trauma, identity issues, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and more. These struggles may seem impossible to overcome, especially when compounded by the adversity of marginalization, identity struggles, or abuse. My mission is to help you feel whole by building skills, developing self-esteem and healthy attachment, and processing your burdens so they can be put down. This includes attuning to the body, calming the nervous system, finding meaning in life, and healing with the compassion and clarity of the true Self. I am here to be a witness, a companion in your journey, and a fellow human being who truly cares. My approach blends Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention skills with Internal Family Systems-based parts work and guided meditation to release trauma and foster self-compassion. In doing so, you learn to make sense of your experiences within the systems around you and foster healing through connection to self, others, and community. Sessions with me sound like: "What was that look there?" "That made me feel a wave of grief. Did you?" "Let’s pause, if that's okay ... Just breathe into the feeling." "All of your emotions are valid, but not all your thoughts are true." "I have some skills for this..." "Let’s talk to this part of you... What does it need? What protects you from?” Above all, treatment should be intentional and built on trust. If this resonates, let’s discuss what you’re looking for together. During my own therapy journey, I learned what it truly meant to “feel your feelings.” At first, the advice seemed absurd; I thought I felt too much. Over time, though, I learned that most of us are never taught how to process emotions or how to let them go. As a Latina and member of the LGBTQ+ and disabled communities, I have often felt misunderstood within therapeutic spaces, and this journey taught me the power of accessing and overcoming emotions holding us back. My work is shaped by these experiences, and I strive to offer inclusive care that centers around each person’s unique strengths and needs. When I am not providing therapy, I love to read fantasy books, write poetry, and make art. Dancing and playing sports in the park are also some of my favorite activities, especially with festive drinks and snacks, and some friends.
Hello! I’m a licensed psychologist who seeks to not just help manage symptoms, but to promote wellness. I am experienced in treating a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, attachment concerns, caretaker stress, chronic pain, binge eating, identity development, career exploration, and life transitions. Having worked with adult clients from a variety of backgrounds, I aim to incorporate a culturally sensitive lens throughout my practice. In sessions, my approach implements behavioral interventions alongside empowerment, exploration of self, and establishing meaning in life. My style is integrative and flexible. I primarily work from a psychodynamic and existential lens to connect past traumas to current patterns, address underlying needs, and foster hope. Through adding in ACT and DBT behavioral interventions, we can better manage symptoms and move towards goals. This multifaceted approach allows client-driven movement between self-exploration, emotional processing, and challenge.

As a compassionate therapist for individuals, couples, and families, I help diverse populations navigate anxiety, depression, attachment and relational issues, identity exploration, difficult emotions, problematic behaviors, neurodivergence, communication challenges, trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, social isolation, self-esteem, grief and loss, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Throughout my sessions, I take a panoramic view of the biological, psychological, social, environmental, and spiritual contexts in which each individual exists, helping to unpack internal and external barriers to wellbeing. When appropriate, I also love to explore the role of humor and creative self-expression in healing. I believe in prioritizing humility, shared power, and curiosity at all times, which allows me to be a supportive partner in discovering each person’s inner wisdom and lived contexts that guide the work. I look forward to partnering with you in this next stage of your growth journey. I specialize in systemic therapy and helping folks deepen their relationships with themselves, which often renders deeper and more authentic relationships with others. My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and affirming, reflecting my passion for making mental health care more accessible and collaborating with each person to help them find greater joy, meaning, insight, and expansiveness, whether life feels full of tidal waves or, at times, far too still. In our work together, I strive to create a warm and empathetic space in which all patients feel truly safe, heard, and supported. Rather than aiming to “fix,” my goal is to help you access and build upon your inherent worth and the strengths you already have. This is achieved through a creative, integrative, and fluid therapeutic style based on your needs, though I lean toward an attachment-focused, psychodynamic lens. I draw heavily from narrative therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic interventions, and mindfulness, but also use Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, and other modalities to help you come home to yourself, find clarity and connection, and develop healthier habits. My path to becoming a therapist is informed by my own mental health journey, in addition to my lifelong interests in human connection and development, psychology, and service. After seeking treatment in my early twenties, I then intensively studied yoga and developed a greater understanding for the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Though I've lived and worked in many settings, with diverse populations, my experience as a poet in writing workshops allowed me to see the great value in creative self-exploration and expression. Being in shared spaces with others as we grappled with the deepest pockets of our hearts and minds deepened my desire to help others find themselves, find healing, and find connection. In my therapeutic practice now, I bring an open mind and careful attention to each session, believing that a foundation of trust and respect is key to the therapeutic process. Outside of work, I like to keep my body and mind active by distance running, skiing, and practicing yoga. I feel most myself when I'm outside, exploring nature, seeing live music, or sitting somewhere peaceful and writing poetry or devouring a good book. I'm also a massive word game enthusiast and jigsaw puzzler, and love to challenge my perfectionism and get creative in the kitchen. Nothing makes me happier than sharing delicious food and laughter with loved ones!
