Young adults feeling anxious, lost, or in family struggles often crave a safe space to express themselves openly. Therapy offers just that, along with tools to manage emotions, navigate confusing situations, and build confidence. Through therapeutic methods I can help you find clarity about your goals, build healthier relationships, and ultimately reach your full potential. It's incredibly rewarding to witness your growth and self-discovery as you overcome challenges and embrace your unique journey. I utilize a variety of methods in my therapeutic practice. Some methods used include: EMDR, CBT, Solutions Focused, Acceptance and Commitment, Humanistic, Family, Systems, and Internal Family Systems. I also like to include art, music, and somatic practices in my sessions. If you are looking to begin therapy, or have questions about what therapy can do for you, I'm happy to chat. You may find yourself thinking, “I should be further along by now,” yet feel stuck going through the motions of life. At times, emotions may feel overwhelming, while at other moments you feel numb or disconnected. Life, like the ocean, comes in waves. Some sets are gentle, and others are surging. In those moments when the current sweeps you out know that you don’t have to swim alone. I support individuals working through anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am here to wade in the water with you, sit at the water’s edge, or hold space until the tide shifts, and the tides always shift. My approach to therapy is rooted in creating safety, collaboration, and respect for your lived experience. I view therapy as a sacred space where I meet you where you are, support you through vulnerable moments, and honor your journey as it ebbs and flows. Together, we work to build coping skills, connection, and capacity for healing. If this resonates, I invite you to reach out. You can call me or send me a message to begin exploring whether we’re a good fit.

As a practicing psychologist for over 30 years (and a short time before that as an attorney), I understand the importance of having someone to speak with about our worries, questions, changes and even our daily lives. I see adults and adolescents who seek support in navigating stressful situations and not only reaching resolution on that issue, but also learning about themselves in deeper ways. I listen closely and with an open mind. I'm supportive and encouraging and help you make connections to patterns that can rework things you would like to change and do differently. Whether we are working on immediate problem resolution or exploring family/social dynamics, it's important that you feel understood, heard and supported in session. It's also important that you have direct, clear feedback that is experienced as helpful and insightful. Not every session is likely to be groundbreaking, but together, we can work toward defining and reaching your therapeutic goals.
I have over 10 years of experience working with hundreds of college-age clients from all walks of life. With my background as both a special education teacher and college and career counselor, I enjoy helping clients explore their identity, increase self-confidence and autonomy, and overcome fears (or whatever else is blocking them from living well). As a therapist, most of the clients I see experience OCD, anxiety, and neurodivergence. I tailor treatment to my clients’ individual needs and create a warm, supportive environment in sessions where they can truly be themselves without judgment.

Healing is deeply personal, and having the right support can make all the difference. As a licensed therapist with three years of experience, I’m dedicated to helping people across the lifespan navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, and the emotional weight that can accumulate over time. Whether you're working through a painful experience, building more confidence in yourself, or simply looking for steadier ground, you'll find a space here that is empathetic, honest, and completely free of judgment. Therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection grounded in compassion and respect, and that's exactly what you can expect with me. My goal is to be a steady, supportive presence you feel genuinely comfortable with as you work toward healing, confidence, and personal growth that feel meaningful and lasting. Together, we'll create a supportive, down-to-earth space where you feel heard, understood, and never judged. My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible, ensuring your healing environment is always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experience. Drawing on evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR, we'll build healthy coping skills, process difficult experiences, and support your overall emotional well-being to create positive change. Trauma-informed care is central to how I work, and empowering you throughout your healing journey is something I am genuinely passionate about. You set the direction; I'll help you find the way forward. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experience in therapy and the profound impact of having people truly in my corner during some of the most difficult seasons of my life. Those relationships stayed with me, and they continue to shape how I show up for every person I work with. This foundation deepened my commitment to care that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and centered on each person’s experience. In every session, I bring empathy, honesty, and genuine respect for the process, with the intention of creating a space where you feel safe enough to be real, supported as you are, and encouraged in your own healing. Outside of the therapy room, I find restoration in nature, whether that's going for walks, hiking, biking, or simply being outdoors to unplug and reset. Traveling and exploring new places brings me a lot of joy, as does unhurried time with family and friends. When I'm winding down at the end of the day, you'll likely find me working on a puzzle while listening to a podcast, a simple combination that helps me slow down and recharge.
Although college can be a time of excitement and exploration, it can also feel extreme and bring up feelings that can be challenging to sort out on our own. Having the right support can make all the difference. At In Bloom Psychotherapy we are here to support you on this journey exactly as you are, helping you find the tools and resources to provide some relief and a better understanding of yourself. Among other issues, we specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, relational issues, depression, college athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts. We incorporate body awareness and mindfulness into sessions because talk therapy alone may not be enough to shift old patterns and create new neural pathways in the brain. Some of our clinicians are trained in EMDR therapy and utilize approaches such as parts work, IFS, DBT, CBT, mindfulness and attachment theory. We know finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming and daunting. If something in this bio resonates with you, please reach out for a free twenty-minute phone consultation.
I have been in the field of mental health for over 20 years and have a passion to support people in a transition phase of life. Whether you are entering a new phase of life, becoming sober, exploring gender or sexuality, sudden loss of job or loved one, I can partner with you through this transition. If you are looking to explore values and find a path forward that feels meaningful and enriching
My clients are smart, self-aware people who've been managing a lot on their own for a long time — and they're tired. They want to stop overthinking everything, feel more solid in their relationships, and figure out who they actually are underneath the performance. A lot of them are queer, neurodivergent, or both, and they're done explaining the basics to their therapist. They want someone direct, who notices patterns, and who won't let them stay comfortable when they're ready for something different. I'm a clinical psychologist. I work with attachment, identity, and the ways people get stuck trying to hold it all together. My style is warm but direct — I'll give you real feedback, not just nod and reflect. We use what works, and go at the pace your nervous system can handle. If you want an authentic therapist who's honest with you, helps you build skills that work outside the room, and actually tracks whether things are getting better — reach out. We'll figure out what matters and go from there.
The Umbrella Collective was developed to be a group practice where clients can see themself reflected in their therapists from an inclusive standpoint. We consist of a network of talk therapists who specialize in working with an intersectional lens, centering the margins in the therapeutic work. We provide consultation to individuals, families, and groups. Umbrella Collective mental health professionals are passionate about social justice, dedicated to ongoing training and education in best practices for BIPOC, LGBTQ people, and people who experience life on the margins. We are skilled at working with you and your intersecting identities. Mission Statement: We are a group of depth-oriented mental health therapists who strive to embody values of liberation, welcome and honor all parts of our humanity, deeply appreciate intersectionality and empower all people to tell their story and experience acceptance, belonging and more meaningful relationships with self and others.
I was raised in a commune-style farm setting in rural Pennsylvania, and earned my BA from Middlebury College and then my MA in counseling psychology from Lesley College. I am currently pursuing her certificate in Modern Psychoanalysis at the Academy for Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis in Livingston, NJ. I am a mother of three and a longtime practitioner of yoga, meditation, and Jin Shin Jyutsu (Japanese acupressure). These practices inform my interest in the well-being of the whole person. I provide a safe and comfortable space where you can explore the parts of your life that you value and also the parts you may want to change. My approach is to cultivate a sense of curiosity and kindness while supporting you in saying whatever is on your mind. As we put our thoughts and feelings into words, we tend to grow more comfortable in ourselves, even in the midst of discomfort. We may find ourselves in more positive relationships at home, at school, and at work. We may find more clarity about how we want to live our lives. Whether in person or online, I see the therapeutic process as a catalyst for reflection, exploration, self-understanding, and personal growth. Together, we will work to understand the richness of who you are and resolve whatever is getting in the way of achieving your personal and professional goals.
I work with young adults and adults individually and in groups. I am currently only accept new clients for the groups I facilitate.
I have 30 years of working with adolescents and young adults. My approach to therapy is founded in the value of the therapeutic relationship. It is very important my clients feel heard and validated with a sense of security as they explore their experiences of both suffering and success. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidenced based psychotherapy treatment to help improve communication with others, reduce fears and phobias, interrupt thoughts that lead to addictive or other self-destructive behaviors, improve self esteem and change negative thought patterns. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations in psychiatric hospitals, treatment programs, the criminal justice system, young adult transitional programs, family systems and private practice.
We are a collective of body- and mindfulness-based coaches and therapists. We offer body-based contemplative counseling, specifically focused on the nervous system; here-and-now awareness; and relationships to ourselves, others, and the natural world, to unwind old patterns from the bottom up, leading to more energy, empowerment, and intimacy. We each have our own specialties (such as PTSD treatment, imaginal work, couples therapy, etc.), yet we share a passion for helping you explore your inner world; integrate difficult experiences; and feel more healthy, whole, and nourished. Everyone needs support to deepen into our own experience, find regulation and groundedness, and open to showing up as more of ourselves in the world, with the strength and freedom to offer our gifts. We would love to accompany you on your journey!
