I specialize in helping people to manage and recover from eating disorders and co-occurring illnesses. I believe that clients who struggle with eating disorders have inherently painful emotions which are managed by various harmful behaviors so I work collaboratively with clients, their support network, and their outpatient providers to find ways to change these behaviors and manage emotions in both the short and long term. In my outpatient practice, I see individuals of all ages and genders who struggle with a wide variety of challenges related to disordered eating, body image issues, and low self-esteem. When I'm not seeing outpatient clients, I also work full-time at a local eating disorder facility, and am able to facilitate referrals to local treatment centers as needed. I remain committed to continuing to work with clients while they need a higher level of support. In addition to in-office individual therapy, I also offer recovery coaching in the community. This can include a wide variety of support including meal coaching, food exposures, and body image improvement coaching. Please contact me for additional information. I am a licensed therapist with 14 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and trauma. Many of the people I work with find themselves stuck in cycles of procrastination and harsh self-criticism, which can make it difficult to feel present or engaged in their daily lives. My approach combines traditional talk therapy with somatic, mind-body techniques that support nervous system regulation and help calm stress stored in the body. Together, we work to create more space for clarity, self-compassion, and meaningful change.

I am a certified Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner. EFT combined with traditional talk therapy is powerfully effective for releasing any distressing emotions, it is easy and non invasive, I lead you through a tapping sequence on the body's meridian points and we can pull up whatever is bothering you and turn it off! I love this technique!
I have been working mainly with young adults in their 20s to 30s, especially Asian-Americans, who are dealing with the turning points in their lives such as career, relationships, family issues, and identities. I also work with bi-cultural, bi-racial couples, families, and their children.
