I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in evidence-based treatments for adolescents and young adults who are seeking support to manage mood, anxiety, college mental health, life transitions, grief, motivation, sleep, and family concerns. I also specialize in working with family members or loved ones of individuals who have a diagnosis of serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. I am passionate about working with college and graduate students and have extensive experience and training working within the context of college mental health. My therapeutic style is warm, active, compassionate, and collaborative. I use a strengths-based approach and draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches to tailor treatment to the specific values, strengths, and goals of my clients. I utilize these approaches to help clients create a toolbox of coping skills and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.
