I will help you navigate life transitions and process any traumatic experiences. If college has been a hard adjustment, if you are having trouble managing anxiety, fears, depression, and hopelessness, or if you have experienced a trauma or traumas, then this is the first step in breaking the cycle. My Practice: I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a focus on supporting young adults through compassionate, evidence-based therapy. I also work with parents through coaching, helping families navigate challenges and strengthen their relationships. My Training: I received my B.S. from Cornell University in Human Development in 2015 and my Masters in Social Work from Boston College in 2020. My previous clinical experience includes acute psychiatric residential treatment at McLean-Franciscan's Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT), school social work at Brookline and Boston Public Schools, and outpatient therapy under a group practice. Who I am: I’m silly, serious, inquisitive, and loyal. I come from a very big family and am a first-generation college student. These parts of my identity shape how I show up in the therapy room - grounded, curious, and deeply committed to connection. Outside of my work, I love to cook, spend time with my loved ones, and move my body in nature. Whether it’s swimming, running, hiking, biking, or skiing, being outdoors helps me feel present and energized.

I work with teens and young adults who find that their anxiety is getting in the way of the life they want to be living. Maybe you've noticed it showing up as procrastination, perfectionism or the inability to start an assignment even when the deadline is looming. Maybe it's lying awake at 2am replaying a conversation or catastrophizing about your GPA. Maybe you just feel chronically overwhelmed and aren't sure why. The client I do best with is the good kid in the family that never causes waves or the quiet kid in the classroom that is a great team member but never makes a fuss. I work best with the silent suffering - those who look just fine on paper and are out and about in their personal life. These are those folks who are too nice, always making excuses for bad behaviors in relationships and ultimately ending up feeling invisible and unloved. I do well helping these types realize their value and helping them assert themselves. I typically work with people who may not have a full blown addiction but might be suffering by drinking too much or keeping an eating disorder in secret. They are getting their pain out in unhealthy ways.

I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, with the belief that therapy is not "one size fits all." We will work as a team to figure out what is most supportive and effective for you.
