I provide a safe, non judgmental space for you to unpack your struggles. By using thoughtful questions, I aim to guide you in finding greater insight and more awareness into thoughts and patterns. The modality I most align with is mindfulness based CBT which focuses on identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns that lead to depression and anxiety. What makes my practice unique is my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and to support them in their personal growth. I'm attuned to the themes and blocks that often go unspoken, and I'm passionate about this work because I believe healing and self discovery are powerful tools for creating a better, more compassionate world.

Hi and welcome—I’m really glad you found your way here! College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming—classes, relationships, family expectations, figuring out who you are, and making decisions about the future. It’s normal to feel stressed, stuck, or unsure at times. I work with students who are navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem, identity, relationships, grief, trauma, and big life transitions. My style is collaborative and down-to-earth—I want our sessions to feel like a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are. My goal is to support you in making sense of what you’re going through, building tools that actually fit your life. Therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time—it can also be a space to reflect, grow, and discover new parts of yourself. If this feels like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d love to connect!
Right now you may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed out, or just feeling “stuck.” Maybe you struggle with overthinking, difficulty sleeping, worrying about the future, feeling unmotivated, or unsure of your next step forward. My clients are often seeking a therapist for anxiety, stress, life changes, ADHD, (seasonal) depression, college, and relationship problems. The thing is, it really is possible to overcome what you’re going through with help from an experienced therapist. I’m here to really listen to you and be by your side, helping you to cultivate the change that you want in your life. Therapy should feel collaborative, safe, and empowering. I bring in a variety of evidenced-based therapy frameworks personalized to your needs, along with compassion and humor into sessions. We’ll sort through what feels hard, learn healthy ways to cope with emotions, and rewrite unhelpful patterns to develop healthier relationships with others and yourself. Imagine what your life will look like when you’ve gotten what you needed out of therapy. Lets make that happen together. Call or email me to schedule a free 20-minute consultation call, and we can see if it’s a good fit. I look forward to talking to you soon!
When painful things happen in our lives, we do our best to cope with it in the moment. That might mean we get really good at “just dealing with it,” and “toughing it out.” Maybe we get really good at “checking out,” or maybe we become super skilled at coming up with clever ways to altogether avoid triggering situations. At one point in time, these skills served you well. And maybe they don’t any longer. Often, underneath these patterns anxiety and depression flood every day, drowning out our resources and making life difficult to enjoy. But changing these patterns and finding new hope can seem like an impossible feat. So often we know something is off because of what we feel in our bodies. Your heart starts pounding, that turning in your stomach, breathing feels tight, maybe you feel disconnected. The key to finding relief is not just about thinking differently. I am a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and offer body-based techniques for approaching these issues. When we can tune into our bodies as well as our thoughts, we can begin to take control of our lives. I believe that you ultimately know what’s best for your own life. Sometimes it can feel scary to start therapy. What I usually tell my clients is “you’re in the driver’s seat.” I’m the copilot and have a map, and can point things out that maybe you didn’t see from your vantage point. Let’s figure this out together. Call or email for a free consultation.
Hi, I’m Emma. I’ve been the trusted guide for many people looking to make meaningful change in their life, and I’d love to help you too. You can look to me for help discovering what motivates you, what will help you grow, what invisible scripts and stories have been holding you back and what identity feels most true. We will work together on the hard questions, the uncomfortable feelings, the painful narratives. I get it, life can be a bit much sometimes. Stress can come at you from every angle. Identity issues can leave you unsure of who you are. Relationship issues can leave you feeling disconnected and alone. I’m tough, I’m fair and I’m caring. It’s a powerful combination for lasting change. I’m here to help, to listen and to work through whatever it is that brought you here. I approach my work with an eclectic style, having been trained in a wide range of specialities and identity categories. I integrate my extensive education in psychodynamic and behavioral therapy techniques with training in queer and feminist theory. Let’s chat and see if my style and personality can be a fit for you.
Do you feel exhausted from trying to hold everything together? Maybe you have always been the responsible one or the person others rely on. You pushed through stress, anxiety, and family challenges because you felt like you had to. At first it seemed manageable, but now the pressure feels heavier and harder to carry. On the outside you appear confident and put together. Inside you might feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or worried that you cannot keep this up much longer. Wanting a break does not mean you are failing. It means you are human. I’m Sara, and I help students who are tired of perfectionism, constant pressure, and the weight of expectations. I work with people who want healthier relationships, better communication, and support as they process past experiences that still affect them today. My background includes ACT, CBT, TF-CBT, Brainspotting, and group therapy training, which allows me to tailor our work to what you need. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, honest, and real environment where you can finally let your guard down. I show up as myself so you can feel comfortable showing up as yourself too. You deserve a space where you can put down the pressure you have been carrying and focus on feeling grounded, supported, and hopeful. I am here to help you get there.
Life is wonderful and really hard at the same time. Sometimes, our struggles take over and interfere with our ability to appreciate the things we love and care about. When this happens, it can turn into developing unhealthy ways of coping and a cycle of suffering. My goal is to help you learn how to reduce suffering and to develop healthier ways of coping. My approach is behavioral; we will work together towards specific goals in a proactive manner. Clients describe me as gentle, humorous, understanding, and change-oriented. I have extensive experience treating eating disorders and anxiety disorders. I practice using an evidence-based treatment model called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) model, which utilizes mindfulness, cognitive interventions, exposure techniques, and movement towards goals and values. I can also help you if you are struggling with life transitions, relationship problems, or a sense of feeling stuck in your life. I firmly believe that most people would benefit from therapy.

Making the decision to come to therapy can be a powerful one. I support individuals navigating the various pressures and stresses in their lives. I specialize in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and perfectionism. In session, clients feel a space free of judgment where they can reconnect with their authentic selves. With that in mind, I approach sessions in a collaborative way with the hopes of building self-esteem and personal agency. In our sessions, you'll feel like you're part of a team and not up against the problem alone. I also help college students, young working professionals, and athletes manage all that comes with being in a high-pressured environment. My own experience as a collegiate athlete taught me the values of teamwork, resilience, and overcoming anxiety and self-doubt-- all qualities I aim to pass along to my clients. For all clients, mindfulness may be an important part of our work. I bring in tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as traditional talk therapy to help you establish healthy boundaries, control overwhelming emotions, and stay grounded in the present moment. I also have a special interest in working with athletes transitioning to life after their sports career. My training as a yoga teacher helps me to deeply understand the mind-body connection, and how identity can get tied up athletic performance. I’ll help you develop a new daily routine, find meaningful ways to incorporate exercise at a lower level, manage fluctuating mood, and develop strong relationships outside of sports. Our sessions will feel like you are supported in taking action steps in your life. I am here to listen and provide accountability with changes you are hoping to make in your life.

Along the way, we’ll celebrate the small wins, unpack the big stuff, and maybe even laugh a little. Growth is serious work, but it doesn’t have to feel that way the entire time.
