Freedom from emotional hijack is found in noticing, naming, and knowing. This can be the gift of psychotherapy. Congratulations on looking for a therapist and trying to figure out what will be best for you! It can seem like it requires endurance, when all you’re trying to do is get your mental health needs met. The good news is there are lots and lots of great therapy practices! And a practice or a therapist that’s a great fit for one person, doesn’t mean that it is for you! All that matters is what works for you. Whether you feel nervous, doubtful, unsure, excited, and/or anything else, let’s chat, when/if you’re ready. Just because we talk, doesn’t mean you have to start therapy!
I hope to offer a space for both light-hearted and deeply challenging conversations, for big questions and doubts, for insecurities and authentic truths, for vulnerability and new perspectives. A place to be unapologetically human. It's a privilege to walk alongside clients as they really explore their relationships with themselves and others.

Are you doing your best, yet life keeps demanding more? Maybe you’re facing change, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or struggling with anxiety or depression that makes everything harder. Are you tired of overthinking, holding it all together, and still feeling stuck? Do you want to feel steady again, to trust yourself, find balance, and breathe a little easier? You don’t have to do this alone. Therapy with me isn’t stiff or clinical; it’s a space to be real, reflect, and respond to life with confidence and self-compassion. I believe therapy should feel human and supportive. Growth happens when you feel safe enough to be yourself, not judged or pressured. My role is to create a space where you can slow down, breathe and explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Therapy is collaborative: you bring your story, strengths and insight; I bring tools, perspective, and compassion. Healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself; it’s about understanding yourself with kindness and curiosity. From that place, real change becomes possible. Together, we’ll work toward greater balance, peace, and connection with yourself and with the people who matter most. If you’re ready to reach out, I’d be honored to support you through whatever you’re facing.
Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, anxious, or simply “not like themselves.” They’re often balancing work, family, school, or major life transitions while trying to keep everything together. You may be experiencing mood changes, sleep concerns, or mental exhaustion, and you’re ready to feel more balanced, confident, and in control again. I provide compassionate, culturally responsive care to help you gain clarity, stability, and peace. I’m currently accepting new clients and would be honored to support you on your healing journey.

I enjoy working with young adults, assisting them with the transition to college and/or adulthood. I have a lot of experience assisting with ADHD and executive function weaknesses. I enjoy helping adults manage stress, anxiety and depression. I am trained in EMDR (www.emdr.com) and use this approach to help bring healing from traumatic events. I have a gentle but direct approach in working with my clients and have an interactive/relational style.
I predominantly work with members of the LGBTQ+ community. Transgender/Gender Specialist (Certified Member of World Professional Association for Transgender Health). Letters provided for transition needs. I provide affirmation and exploration to facilitate authenticity while taking into account your values and goals within the framework of your life. I work with family members to facilitate peace and workability in line with this authenticity. Clinical mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, attention deficit, etc. are also addressed.
So often, life can feel overwhelming. You may be navigating big transitions, trying to be a good partner, or feeling the pressure to hold everything together - while inside you feel like you’re barely managing. These struggles can feel lonely, but you don’t have to go through them alone. Therapy provides a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and gain clarity and insight into your experiences. I offer compassionate, person-centered therapy for adults 18+ navigating a variety of issues. My work is tailored to each individual and may draw on mindfulness, skills-building, and exploration of your experiences to support you in whatever you are navigating. I am passionate about supporting women’s mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and can also offer support for couples. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but I will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and nonjudgment, offering space for you to feel seen and supported. If you're ready to take that next step, I'd be honored to walk with you on the journey.

Ardelle Bland is a doctorate-level national certified counselor. She specializes in working with young adults navigating life transitions. She loves to draw from narrative concepts and creative writing in therapy. She believes that deep down we all want to live the “hero’s journey” and she enjoys supporting individuals in finding out what that is for them personally. With almost 20 years of experience in mental health, she understands the amazing transformation that can occur when we take intentional steps to discover who we truly are and what we want from life. Having worked with counselors and coaches during seasons of change in her own life, she has experienced firsthand how the process of self-discovery and intentional action can reshape one’s life. Through your time together, she will guide you to become the author of your own story, helping you gain clarity, purpose, and confidence for the next chapter. Through this approach she hopes to inspire and empower you to transform your life with intention and create the future you desire. You may appear to be holding it all together on the outside while struggling internally with burnout, overthinking, self-pressure, or feeling emotionally stuck. I specialize in helping clients process, heal, and grow through life transitions, anxiety, and trauma in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. I utilize evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and ACT to help clients move beyond survival mode toward greater clarity, balance, confidence, and emotional relief. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and actively involved in the process, so I take a collaborative and personalized approach focused on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and helping you create a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.

I specialize in working with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, past traumas, disordered eating, confidence, feeling overwhelmed, or feeling inadequate. Some of my clients describe themselves as a "perfectionist". It’s exhausting trying to maintain the standards you hold yourself to when internally you’re feeling like things are falling apart. I take an empathetic and non-judgmental approach that creates a safe and warm environment allowing you to explore past traumas, feeling overwhelmed, anxious or inadequate. Please visit my website for more information. My practice offers a sanctuary for individuals who have endured past traumas or abuse, and for those who habitually set aside their own needs to care for others. I understand the profound frustration that arises when situations feel beyond your control. Through a blend of therapeutic approaches including CBT and evidence based somatic techniques, we'll explore the patterns that aren't working for your lifestyle anymore. Together, we'll work to uncover and address the roots of your challenges. My goal is to empower you to embrace vulnerability as a strength, enabling a transformative journey towards a more balanced, fulfilling life. Let's connect and build a genuine and authentic relationship that allows you to feel safe enough to be vulnerable.
