Hello! I'm Jacobia Williams, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a passion for helping others to live their best lives. I've worked as a social worker in settings such as therapeutic foster care, hospitals, counseling, and schools for the last 20 years. My goal is to support you on your life's journey. We are all unique and have stories to tell, but it is important to be the narrator of that story. Many of us have faced challenges with our health, jobs, families, and relationships. Many have lost loved ones, felt overwhelmed, and have been stressed out. Often times, our loved ones and children may be feeling those stressors also. We want to teach ourselves and children that it is important to take care of our physical and emotional health. Seeking help to fine tune our coping skills is a courageous act. Allow me the opportunity to partner with you in developing the skills and tools needed to navigate your world. We want to assist you with living a healthy and happy life. Call/ Book online under client portal for new clients.
Welcome, I'm glad you are here. If you need a safe space to talk it out, I am here to listen. If you need to cry, yell, lament, or laugh I am here for it! I find it is beneficial, for those that I work with, to talk and to do. I often incorporate creative experiences, outdoor therapy, and movement as integral parts of the counseling process. I consider myself informal, personable, often humorous, and accepting of others. I'm looking forward to meeting you soon.
I help clients get to know themselves closely. Early adulthood, coming off the chaos of adolescence, is a tough time, exacerbated by this extraordinarily tough time in the world. Working with me means sitting together and listening very carefully to you. As we listen together on a journey to discern your true self, we will hear many voices. Memories will surface. Feelings will come up. By exploring yourself in our treatment relationship, you can come to relate to yourself in a new way and gain clarity, confidence, and peace that you can handle what life brings. I specialize in psychodynamic treatment.

Helping ADHD brains thrive - Trauma recovery with EMDR - LGBTQ+ affirming. You’ve been doing your best to keep it together, but your brain won’t slow down, the past still hits hard, or you’re tired of trying to explain your identity. If you feel scattered, stuck, or just plain exhausted—you're not alone. I help people like you find clarity, healing, and practical tools to move forward. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused strategies, and EMDR (when it’s a good fit) to help you create real change. We’ll challenge old patterns, take practical steps forward, and when appropriate, use EMDR to gently reprocess painful memories and shift the beliefs that keep you stuck. Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and supportive—expect compassion, real talk, and plenty of space for laughter along the way. You don’t have to do this alone! If you’re ready to feel more grounded, focused, or just more you, let’s talk. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit. You can reach out by phone or email—whatever feels easiest. I’m here when you’re ready.
My counseling background involves working with diverse clients experiencing a variety of issues. I work with teenagers, married couples, families and individuals. Hi there, my name is Caroline Bobbie and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I would first like to congratulate you on taking the steps to seek out support. Sometimes we show grace to others but not to ourselves. The therapeutic relationship supports a better understanding of our behaviors, thoughts and feelings. My approach is focused on providing you with a safe and trusting environment to cultivate the changes you want from within. My practice utilizes specialized therapeutic techniques including mindfulness based therapies, psychoanalytical, solution focused, cognitive behavioral and grief counseling techniques. Services include short and long term treatment options for adolescents and adults. Sessions are in the one on one format.
At Carolina Psychological Institute we provide psychological evaluations to children and adults. We specialize in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disorder, Personality Disorder, and Mood Disorders.
My practice model is all about helping clients explore themselves and their place in the world. As a licensed psychologist with experience working in a variety of care settings, I have expertise in treating depression, anxiety, lifestyle stress, trauma, addiction, and spiritual/existential distress. My therapy takes a nonjudgmental, compassion oriented focus. Through guiding my clients to approach themselves in more open and honest ways, I help them uncover their core needs so that they may lead lives that feel vibrant and fulfilling. I view health as a balance between mind, body, spirit, and environment. As such, my therapy style is holistic. I regularly guide my clients in mindfulness-based practices and offer an approach that blends Internal Family Systems therapy with somatic work and cognitive-behavioral exploration. In a culture where consciousness altering drug use is on the rise, I also work with clients to gain optimal wellness following challenging, disorienting, or invigorating psychedelic experiences. My passion for the Enneagram heavily informs my therapeutic lens, and I happily teach this tool to clients interested in evolving their understanding of self. I work to bolster my clients’ strengths while developing new skills and fresh insights. With sensitivity to the health impact of both personal and cultural forces, I strive to create a safe, welcoming space for my clients to explore all facets of their identities.
