I BELIEVE THAT EACH PERSON is a mosaic of experiences, identities, and values and I will tailor our work to your unique needs and goals. I am attentive to your story as an individual or couple as well as broader cultural and sociopolitical dynamics that may impact your experience. I am collaborative and not mysterious - I will share my thinking with you, explain what I believe you may find helpful and why, and welcome your feedback on what is and is not working for you. I WILL DRAW UPON MY TIME studying biology at Harvard to consider and share with you how biological elements such as sleep science, nutrition, stress response, and more may be impacting your wellbeing. I also am happy to discuss how your sexual health intersects with physical and emotional health, and have several years of experience in sex and relationship counseling. If you struggle with any aspect of sex ranging from desire, arousal, accessing pleasure, self-consciousness, or trauma, I am here to acknowledge the taboos around sex in our society, provide a space for open conversation individually or as a couple, and help you get what you want out of your sexuality and sex life. MY CLINICAL STYLE prioritizes validation and fostering a safe environment to navigate vulnerable topics together. Many people tend to invalidate their own emotions - if this sounds like you, I will support you in developing kinder self-talk and holding space for your feelings. We will uncover insight into why you may be stuck in certain patterns or cycles that are not serving you as an individual or in a relationship and use this knowledge to build new ways of moving forward and living your life how you want to. WE WILL REFLECT ON what gives you fulfillment and how to create a life full of meaning and enjoyment. At the same time, we will explore different tools, including somatic methods and emotional skills, that you can use to reduce stress, and anxiety, reshape negative thinking, improve tension-filled relationships, and overall work towards being happier, healthier, and more productive. We may think of the mind as something intangible, but it lives in the body. By learning to support your mental processes and physical well-being, you can achieve balance and peace. No matter where you are on this journey, I will meet you there and support you.

I offer compassionate and transformative psychotherapy to individuals 18+ throughout the lifespan, drawing upon both traditional and innovative tools to provide highly individualized and attuned support. I have expertise working with anxiety (including social anxiety), life transitions, grief, trauma, work-related stress, family conflicts, and relationship issues. I also work frequently with spirituality and religion, multicultural issues, adjustment disorder, and concerns relating to college students and recent graduates. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of professional experience. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Religious Studies and graduating Cum Laude. I received my Master in Social Work degree at NYU. I have a certificate in Relational Psychotherapy and utilize mindfulness-based tools like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, I have trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems) level 1 and the beginning and intermediate levels of Somatic Experiencing (a body-based approach), innovative therapeutic tools that I incorporate into my work. If a client already working with a primary therapist wishes to pursue an adjunct treatment focusing specifically on SE or IFS, I can design a therapy program to support these goals. I also provide adjunct therapy specifically targeting social anxiety. Before transitioning to private practice, I was a staff therapist at Columbia University Counseling and Psychological Services for eight years. I have extensive experience offering psychotherapy to adults of all ages, leading groups focused on creating connections and managing anxiety, and presenting virtual and in-person workshops to large audiences in professional and educational contexts. At this time, I see clients via telehealth throughout New York State and do not offer in-person sessions. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss how I may support you.

Is anxiety taking over your life—leaving you overwhelmed, on edge, or stuck in your head? When anxiety is constant, it can feel impossible to stay present, manage emotions, or maintain healthy relationships. You might find yourself overthinking everything, struggling with panic attacks, and feeling exhausted from trying to keep it together. Anxiety can make you feel helpless and hopeless, but it doesn't have to be that way. I help people who feel consumed by anxiety and the emotional toll it takes. Using a mix of DBT, CBT, and grounding techniques, I’ll help you learn how to calm your mind and navigate intense feelings. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more confident, less anxious, and more connected to the life you want to live.

Pursuing our goals by obtaining a higher education can be exciting and challenging. Many of us experience challenges with anxiety, stress, perfectionism, life transitions, depression, a sense of identity, sexual orientation and relationships. I also help people from all walks of life, socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities, spiritual beliefs and ages. In addition to supportive and psychodynamic approaches, I work with specific trauma treatments. I help people who have experienced trauma involving relationships and abuse. I provide treatment for different types of dissociation. I look forward to see how I can be of help!

I am a bilingual Latinx clinician with years of education, training, and clinical experience as a psychotherapist and social worker. As a proud second-generation Latinx person, I understand the importance of respecting your unique intersectionality and the desperate need to decolonize psychotherapy. Therefore, I offer a space for you to safely explore cognitive and relationship patterns with a well-trained empathic affirming person of color. I may be a person of color trained in some of the top educational institutions, but I have never lost sight of the complex challenges we have and continue to face daily in our society. Together, we can explore the beauty and power of the unique intersectionality we each experience. So, contact me, and we can discuss the next steps. I work with Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, Oxford, Aetna, Optum, Headway, and Alma. Out-of-pocket and sliding scale options are available.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York City, providing therapy in both English and Spanish. I work one-on-one with folks navigating trauma, relationship challenges, maternal mental health, life transitions, and identity exploration. My approach focuses on slowing down to recognize the patterns in our lives—those that serve us and those that no longer do—so we can begin to move toward creating the life we want. I have experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, gender-based violence, sexual abuse, immigration stressors, and LGBTQ+ issues, including gender identity. I take a collaborative, holistic approach to therapy, offering a safe, supportive space to slow down, reflect, and explore who you are and who you want to become. I believe our emotions offer meaningful insight. By understanding our patterns, we create space for healing, growth, and a more connected, authentic life. Life can be unpredictable and overwhelming, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. In therapy, we’ll explore ways to cope with challenges, reconnect with moments of joy, and find steadiness and strength in an ever-changing world. Together, we can safely explore how to thrive in a changing world.

Suffering from anxiety can be like falling into quicksand, the more you fight it, the deeper you sink. Do you feel lost in your struggle with anxiety or find it difficult articulate how you are feeling? Perhaps you tend to take care of others but can’t figure out how to take care of yourself? I believe you have the power within to change your life story and psychotherapy is the tool to help you lift yourself up. Imagine being the author and the main character in your life story, with the ability to create change and move towards a more meaningful life. Narrative therapists like me use stories as a vehicle for healing, as the way we all experience life is largely defined by our own internal narrative. Sometimes, other people or negative events can write chapters in our life’s story. My goal is, through open and trusting dialogue, to help you reauthor your story, take control of your narrative, and heal. I know personally how vulnerable it can be to look for help. That’s why I bring optimism, hope, perseverance, and compassion to my clinical work and will walk alongside you in your journey to greater insight, self-awareness, and growth. I am currently accepting new clients, so when you are ready, reach out and see if we would be a good fit to work together!

You’re tired of questioning yourself and feeling “not enough.” Painful experiences in your past colored your inner world gray... Lingering wounds like childhood trauma, narcissistic partners, and betrayal trauma impact how you see yourself and interact with others. You want to break free from being a perfectionist, people-pleaser, or high achiever compensating for internalized self-blame, shame, or inadequacy. Using a blend of brainspotting & psychoanalysis, we can tap into the connection between your body, brain, and psyche to work through stuck points in your inner world, as well as your social, cultural, and familial landscapes. Brainspotting is an alternative to talk therapy that could bypass the limitations of language and access the brain's subcortical regions involved in emotional processing, memory formation, and instinctive reactions. By focusing on points in the visual field, or "brainspots," we can tap into unresolved trauma and emotions stored in the subcortical brain. My goal is to help you process old pain, gain insight into its origins and how it shaped you, reframe limiting narratives from childhood, and integrate fragmented pieces of you into a cohesive sense of self. Schedule a free phone consult with me through my website to see if we might be a good match.

Welcome! At times, we all experience difficult emotions such as depression, anxiety, and self-doubt. These feelings can negatively affect our relationships, as well as work or academic life. You may be struggling with professional dissatisfaction, conflict with a family member or partner, or possibly just feel stuck and unsure how to move forward in your life. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and reflective space that empowers you to build insight, achieve balance, and accomplish your goals. I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and open dialogue, and we work together to facilitate growth and healing, and deepen your self-awareness. By listening attentively and combining empathy with compassion, I work with my clients to help them better understand their feelings and beliefs, and to utilize this knowledge to create more self-understanding, self-acceptance, and fulfillment in their lives. Many of the students I work with describe feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or “stuck,” like they’re doing all the right things on paper but still struggling underneath the surface. They might overthink, hold themselves to very high standards, or find it hard to quiet their mind. Others come to therapy because they’re having trouble managing relationships, navigating big life transitions, or coping with perfectionism and self-doubt. In our work together, we focus on understanding what’s driving your anxiety or stress, learning practical tools to manage it, and developing a more balanced and compassionate relationship with yourself. My approach blends evidence-based strategies (like CBT, ACT, and DBT) with a warm, relational style so therapy feels both structured and genuinely supportive. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, OCD, burnout, or the pressures of being a student in a fast-paced world, therapy can help you slow down, build clarity, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels more grounded and confident.

Do you find yourself feeling stuck or with the sense that you are just going through the motions and simply existing? I can help guide you to participate more fully in life and reach your maximum potential. We will work collaboratively to increase self-awareness, identify recurring patterns, and minimize maladaptive behaviors through the use of coping skills and resources at hand. With insight, confidence and tools in hand, you will be better equipped to effectively navigate through various road bumps in life and stop getting in your own way. I'm very collaborative, directive and strengths-based in my work with clients. I work with adults, couples and families to address life challenges related to mood & personality disorders, addiction & dependency-based issues, building positive relationships and cultivating self-worth. I have an eclectic approach, utilizing several different modalities to suit each client's needs, including evidence-based practices where applicable. It is common for ambivalence to be involved when facing any kind of life decision or transition. A CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing approach can allow me to meet a client where they are at and help each individual gage their own level of readiness for change. You've taken a huge step just by seeking out therapy. Now let's go on this journey together!
