Hi! I help clients cultivate awareness, insight, and self-compassion so that they can know themselves in a deeper way and live more authentically. I'm level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), which means I can help you get to know and heal the parts of you who feel stressed, anxious, burnt out, or depressed. We do this in a gentle, trauma-informed way. My practice is also informed by studies in psychodynamic theory, self-compassion, mindfulness, creative arts, and Buddhist psychology. No matter what approach you feel most comfortable exploring, I believe that safety, consent, and the therapeutic relationship are the foundation for healing.

I'm a trauma therapist offering online therapy to college students throughout Pennsylvania. My specialty is IFS-informed EMDR: EMDR helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their grip on the present, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) brings compassion to the parts of you that learned to protect you in hard times. Together, they let us work through trauma at a pace that feels safe — without having to retell your story over and over. Many of the students I work with are carrying more than a heavy course load: childhood wounds, anxiety that won't switch off, depression, ADHD, or the pressure of holding it all together far from home. Therapy with me is a place where all of that can be looked at without judgment. I believe we can let go of our past and accept ourselves as we are — and that self-acceptance is the first step toward change. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in EMDR (EMDRIA) and trained in IFS (IFS Institute) and DBT, with a master's in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and eight years of practice. Sessions are $185 with sliding-scale spots available, and I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. I offer a free 20-minute consultation — reach out and let's see if we're a good fit.

My hope is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, or a major life transition, my goal is to meet you with warmth, authenticity, and compassion. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical coping skills using CBT and solution-focused strategies, and work toward helping you feel more confident, resilient, and like yourself again.

The Counseling Corner is a group of dedicated clinicians who take pride in providing quality mental health care. As a mental health practice, we assist members by providing therapy to a wide array of people who are in pursuit of happiness. Our team is comprised of exceptional clinicians with a variety of specialties to ensure we give you the best support possible. From our founder: I wanted to take a moment to share something deeply personal and meaningful to me. At 23, I faced an unimaginable loss when I lost my mother to alcohol addiction. It was a painful journey that led me to struggle with my own mental health for nearly a decade. During that time, I often searched for a purpose and a way to turn my pain into something positive. Today, I’m proud to announce that I’ve opened this mental health practice. We are building a team of incredible clinicians, each of whom shares a commitment to help others navigate difficult times and find hope and healing. Our goal is to create a safe space where people can feel understood, supported, and empowered on their journey to wellness. We’re here to save lives and help individuals reclaim their strength. If you or someone you know is looking for support, please reach out. Thank you for allowing me to share this journey with you. You are the expert on you, and you already possess all the tools necessary to heal and achieve your goals! Life experiences however can cause those tools or skills to become buried. In a safe and supportive therapeutic environment my role is to help uncover your “toolbox”, remove the broken or ineffective tools, sharpen the dull ones, and add a few new shiny ones. To embark on this counseling journey several critical therapeutic ingredients are needed: safety, empathy, and trust (SET). You'll lead and I'll closely follow, serving as a skillfully trained second pair of eyes and ears.

I started my career as a social worker in Philadelphia working with adults living with HIV/AIDS. After finishing graduate school at Temple University and receiving my Master of Social Work degree, I began working with children in the foster care system. Much of my professional career has been working with non-traditional families formed through foster care and adoption. Many of my current clients are teens or adults who were adopted, individuals or couples who have chosen to adopt, or first parents (biological parents) who chose adoption for a child. I’ve always been drawn to, and count myself among, people who share the feeling of not quite fitting in. Through therapy I strive to help people find and celebrate what makes them unique and to find strength in their difference. My identity as a white, heterosexual, cisgender woman who is married and a stepparent plays a role in our work together. I’m also an animal loving vegan who grew up on a farm, loves to travel, and is trying to develop a green thumb. I share these things about myself so we can potentially explore how our social positions, life choices and interests impact our therapeutic relationship.

My name is Sarah and I am a therapist, coach and community organizer. I specialize in working with activists, organizers and politically left gen individuals who struggle with burnout, overwhelm and balance. You may be struggling with self-doubt, fear about the future and compassion fatigue. I can help with that. I work with individuals who are navigating trauma associated with living under capitalism. During our first few sessions together, we will begin to bridge the gap between your pain and systematic structures that impact you deeply. You'll begin to experience yourself as part of a whole community, not just an individual. Therapy with me will be political, restorative, healing and empowering.

I do two things really well - listen and empathize. You and your story are unique. My job is to help you set goals and develop a plan to set the path for our work together. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space for open sharing and reflection. My role is not to judge or tell you what you should do. My role is to empower and support you to be your best self even if that sometimes means challenging you to promote change. I work with young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or general life stress. The world itself impacts how we move through it particularly for members of neurodivergent and BIPOC communities. I offer a 15 minute phone consult to see if we vibe.

Psychotherapy that helps to bring about transformation will offer insights into the deeper motivations that lie outside of our conscious awareness in everyday encounters. Circle Counseling seeks to provide, through the therapeutic relationships formed between our clients and counselors, the opportunity for the client to risk new ways of relating and being in the world. Each client comes with unique strengths and unique hurts that, when fully explored, will bring to light new, more healthy ways of thinking, feeling, and acting in the world. The truth about ourselves is sometimes hard to see, hard to understand, and hard to admit, but in therapy these hard realities can be looked at within the safety of a caring, professional relationship. Let the truth set you free in new ways. Deepen your spirit and find new joy. We have 15 therapists ready to provide services.

Hi! I’m Dr. Ana, a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania with over 10 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with support, compassion, and practical tools. I currently offer virtual therapy sessions throughout PA and am accepting new clients. Life often moves quickly, bringing highs and lows and everything in between. In the midst of the “busy-ness” and challenges, it can often be hard to pause and take care of ourselves. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and deepen our understanding of who we are so that we can live with more meaning and purpose. I truly believe that therapy can be helpful for anyone. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and less alone. You don’t have to go through this alone. I’d be honored to support you on your journey. Feel free to reach out with questions or to schedule a consultation!
