Hi, I'm Hailey! I’m a dedicated member of ECA Counseling & Services, where we’re committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals from all walks of life—including teens, emerging adults, young professionals, and adults. Our practice specializes in supporting those facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and career or academic struggles. As a licensed clinical social worker with nearly a decade of experience, I have worked in both residential and outpatient settings, bringing extensive expertise in trauma-informed care. I believe in viewing individuals as their own true experts, empowering them in trusting in their strength and knowledge to progress toward their self-directed goals. I aim to be a consistent support for my clients, weaving together compassion, humor, and a little bit of healthy risk-taking and challenge to create my unique approach in therapy. I draw from a background in expressive arts therapy which, when combined with trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic practices, techniques, and skill-building, allows me to work collaboratively with clients to find solutions custom-fit and tailor-made for their unique experiences.

Connecting with the right therapist can help you access inner strengths and develop new strategies. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, creating a non-judgmental, safe and supportive space where you can deepen self-understanding and confidence. Hi, I’m Dan—the founder and owner of Clarity Counseling Services, LLC. College can be exciting, but it can also feel like a lot—especially when you’re expected to juggle academics, relationships, identity, family pressures, and your future. Maybe you look like you're holding it together, but inside you're overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how to keep going. Maybe you’re trying to make sense of a tough experience, struggling to manage expectations, or just feeling... off. You want to feel better—but you also want to understand yourself more deeply and figure out how you got here. Therapy can help. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on and build a path forward. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you don’t have to filter your words or mask your feelings. I specialize in helping college students navigate stress, anxiety, identity shifts, relationships, and big life transitions. My style is supportive and down-to-earth, and I’ll meet you wherever you are—with curiosity, calm, and without judgment. I use an integrative, strengths-based approach tailored to your needs, drawing from nearly 20 years of clinical experience. We'll work together to unpack what’s weighing you down, improve your self-understanding, and build tools that help you feel more grounded, balanced, and capable—both now and in the future. It’s time to find more peace, clarity, and meaning—not just in school, but in all parts of your life. Let’s work together to get you there. **A Note About Insurance: I’m an insurance-friendly provider. While I don’t bill insurance directly, many students with PPO or POS plans successfully use their out-of-network benefits to get reimbursed. I provide detailed Superbills and can guide you through the process step by step. I also offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to help you get a feel for how I work and see if we’re a good fit. If you have any questions about fees or insurance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to help.**

Shoreline Wellness Center places a focus on talk therapy (psychotherapy) to help patients better manage the stress they encounter in their daily life. Working with a therapist has many benefits, such as coping with feelings, facing and solving problems, or changing behavioral patterns that are leading to some of your symptoms. In therapy, we don’t just talk about problems. The main goal is to develop a reasonable and doable solution. Sometimes you may have “homework” to complete for your therapist. This may include something like tracking your moods throughout the day, journaling about your thoughts, going out of your way to be social, or joining in activities that caused you to feel anxious in the past. Your therapist may even suggest for you to try to look at things differently or to learn new skills to use in your everyday life. Therapy focuses on current and past thoughts, feelings, and issues. Both are important, as they may very well be connected in some way. Discussing your challenges and having an open dialogue is the key to finding the solution to help your present and prepare for your future.

People seek counseling / therapy for many reasons - to gain understanding and insights, make changes, process experiences, for support and encouragement, and many others. Whether you are looking for a safe place to discuss whatever is on your mind, are interested in making life changes, or just want to give therapy a try, I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and see how I may be able to help. You can count on me to be reliable, truthful, and kind. My approach to therapy recognizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship. I identify as queer and specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I am an affirming practitioner. I have over 20 years of experience working with college and graduate students in college counseling centers, and as a result I've had the privilege of working with many people from all around the world. My therapeutic approach is culturally informed and integrates a whole-person perspective along with socio-cultural/political awareness and acknowledgement of the impact of systemic barriers on functioning. I am mindful of my own areas of privilege and how I show up in spaces and may be perceived by others. I attend to how I perceive others based on my own life experiences. I'm always working to educate myself and challenge my assumptions and biases. I read, try to keep up on the news (around the world, not just in the U.S.), and try to engage in conversations with people from various backgrounds. If you would like to have a brief, introductory conversation to discuss what you are looking for and how I may be able to help, please give me a call or send an email. It cannot be overstated what a big deal it is that you have begun to explore finding support for yourself. This first step is one of the hardest. I’d be honored to be a resource for you during this time, and accompany you as you grow and change. The majority of my clients are high achievers of all stripes, from Ivy League students to folks attending competitive conservatories and art schools. I was a performing artist (actor, singer, musician) for 12 years in New York City before changing careers, and I specialize in working with folks who have creative identities. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent, and most also find themselves in overfunctioning/underfunctioning dynamics in their relationships. My main therapy modality is Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as somatic mindfulness-based therapy (Hakomi), and experiential therapy (gestalt). Basically this means that, in therapy, I will support you in getting more familiar with your internal system by helping you track what’s happening in your mind, your body, and between you and I (the therapist and the client). I’ll also guide you towards deepening your relationship with the different “parts” of your system, learning their agendas and desires, which sometimes produce inner conflicts and create stuckness. It’s well-known that being mindful of your body and breath is a great way to reduce stress, and using this practice as real situations arise in therapy will give you a practical way to use it in your day-to-day. As you get to know your system better, you will build greater trust within yourself, allowing for stuck parts to shift and for real lasting change to occur. If you’ve been in therapy before and it just felt like venting, IFS will be different. Pro tip: the research suggests that the therapy modality you use is less important than a trusting relationship with your therapist as far as positive therapy outcomes (though I will happily talk IFS theory for days). Do your best to go with your gut feeling about who intuitively feels right when choosing a therapist, even if right now might be the hardest time to do so. If something about my practice resonates, please reach out and schedule a consultation! I look forward to hearing from you soon!

You’re used to handling things. You’ve figured out how to succeed, meet deadlines, and show up for others — but lately it feels harder. Maybe anxiety is louder, your mood dips more often, or relationships feel strained. You don’t have to keep pushing through alone. Therapy can help you build steadiness, clarity, and more intentional choices in the middle of a demanding season. At Mind Field Therapy, I work with college students navigating anxiety, depression, identity shifts, relationship stress, and the impact of difficult life events or past trauma. I’ll absolutely ask how you’re feeling — and we’ll go deeper than that. I’m direct, grounded, and occasionally use humor when it helps us loosen anxiety’s grip. The goal isn’t endless venting; it’s understanding what’s driving the patterns and building tools you can actually use.
