I believe you are more than what happened to you. You are also more than the challenges you are facing right now. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding what is happening beneath the surface. I work with individuals navigating stress, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional demands of high-pressure environments. My goal is to create a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My professional background spans social work, crisis response, trauma-informed care, law enforcement, and behavioral health. That experience has given me a unique perspective on how stress, trauma, relationships, work, and life experiences can shape the way we think, feel, and respond. Therapy isn't about "fixing" you. You're not broken. It's about helping you better understand yourself, develop practical tools, process what you've experienced, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or simply recognize that something needs to change, you don't have to navigate it alone. My goal is simple: to help you understand your story, strengthen your capacity to navigate what comes next, and create a life in which you can truly thrive.

I own a private practice located in Grand Rapids, MI. I see a wide range of topics for what clients come to seek help with, and enjoy working with individuals in the college and young adult season of life and all the complexities and questions that can sometimes arise. I tend to do a lot of work with clients on engaging their self-awareness and deepening their insight as well as addressing practical aspects of what they are navigating, including problem solving, improving relational dynamics, and helping think about big questions and unknowns they may be facing.

I work best with students who carry a lot internally—people who seem put-together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected underneath. Many of the students I support are high achievers or deep feelers who worry about disappointing others, overthink decisions, or feel pressure to be “the strong one.” They’re often juggling school, relationships, family expectations, cultural or religious pressure, and their own inner world all at the same time. A lot of the students I connect with are navigating big transitions—figuring out who they are, questioning beliefs they grew up with, or trying to become their own person in the midst of complicated family dynamics. Some grew up in high-pressure homes, were the emotional caretaker in their family, or learned to hide their needs. Others are noticing patterns they don’t know how to change, like shutting down, feeling numb, feeling “too much,” or carrying stress in their bodies through tension, trouble sleeping, or difficulty concentrating. Many of my students are the quiet strugglers—the ones who rarely ask for help, apologize for having needs, or carry the emotional load for everyone else. They’re thoughtful, self-aware, and resilient, but exhausted. If you feel stuck between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming, or if you’re looking for a space where you don’t have to hold everything together, you’ll feel understood with me.

Hello! I am a trauma therapist for women navigating motherhood and life transitions. I specializes in supporting women navigating motherhood, grief and loss, neurodivergence, and life transitions. I work with adult women who may appear to be managing life well on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. Many of the clients I work with are processing trauma, adjusting to major life transitions, navigating ADHD or autism as adults, or finding their way through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I am particularly passionate about supporting women who are learning to better understand their emotional and physical responses, reconnect with their sense of self, and develop new ways of relating to their experiences.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of school, grades, social groups and trying to keep up with everything you're supposed to be doing? Maybe you find yourself comparing yourself to others, wondering if you're falling behind or not doing enough? Maybe you’re overwhelmed by school, work, family expectations, pressures of needing to know your life goals or all of it at once. You might feel stuck and need some support and or just exhausted trying to balance everything. Whether you're navigating college or grad school, exploring relationships, or dealing with family pressures, I’m here to walk alongside you. If you’re in that in-between space, thinking you need to have things figured out, questioning yourself, or just trying to keep up, I get it. Therapy can be a space to unpack and process, where you can slow down and start to explore what matters to you and what are some patterns that may be holding you back. You're not alone if you're asking questions like: "Am I doing enough?" "Why does everyone else seem to have it figured out?" "How do I make time for myself when everything feels urgent?" Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, grief, or the social exhaustion of trying to stay connected while also needing space this season of life is a lot. In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are. I offer a space where you can show up as yourself. I believe in being real with you, validating what’s hard, and gently helping you explore what feels stuck or confusing. We’ll talk about things like identity, relationships, stress, loss, and how to care for yourself even when everything feels like it’s moving fast. Whether you’re feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, or just trying to figure out your next steps, my intention is to walk with you and offer a steady, supportive space to explore, grow, and heal. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan with a specialization in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health and Mental Health and completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University. I draw from a person-centered approach, believing that my clients are the experts in their own lives. My role is to offer support, perspective, and tools as we work collaboratively toward your goals.
