Feeling stuck in a rut? Feeling stressed and overwhelmed? In a safe and supportive environment you will gain insight and learn specific skills so you can get back on track and start living a more fulfilling life.
Adjusting to college can be a difficult transition. It can be an overwhelming and isolating experience. And I'm here to partner with you to make that transition easier. If you are looking for relief from stress, sadness, anxiety, relationship difficulties, uncertainty about your next step, needing help with developing coping skills, or wanting to better understand yourself, I'm here to help guide you towards those goals. You do not have to go through it alone. I look forward to working with you!
The idea of starting therapy can stir up many emotions for us. Maybe we're scared of getting vulnerable. Maybe we're struggling to accept that we need help and feel like we've failed. And maybe a little bit of us sparks with hope that something better can happen in our lives; that change is possible. Many people enter therapy feeling disconnected and low on hope, but together we can work to change that. I love helping clients to restore hope and connection with their most authentic selves. Over the last decade I have worked with people coping with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also bring a specialized focus in working with adoptees and caregivers (especially those who find themselves unexpectedly care giving for a loved one earlier in life than they anticipated). My work is most informed by a background in trauma, attachment, and self compassion. My favorite part of being a therapist is helping people to see themselves with more clarity and kindness. If you think I might be a good fit to work with you, drop me a message and let's chat!
Are you dealing with excessive worrying and overwhelm? Maybe perfectionism is starting to take a toll? Struggling with procrastination or low motivation? Or perhaps you're running into trouble with relationships (friendships, family, or romantic)? With years of experience providing therapy to students on a college campus, I understand the unique pressures you face. In a relaxed, relatable way, we'll work together to figure out what's at the root of your challenges and take steps to help you overcome and move forward in a healthier and happier way.
Hi. I'm sorry you're struggling. Whatever's going on I encourage you to reach out. If we're a good fit, life will feel easier soon. The work will be both difficult and rewarding and is very worth while. Good therapy comes from safety and trust and both create healing. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I’m a bilingual Latinx therapist (LCSW in NY) passionate about supporting college students as they navigate the unique challenges of this stage of life. Whether you’re adjusting to a new environment, managing academic pressures, navigating relationships, or exploring your identity, I offer a warm and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. As a Latinx therapist, I bring cultural awareness and sensitivity to my work, understanding the complex experiences of students from immigrant, Latinx, and underserved communities. I use evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches, like CBT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, to help students develop coping strategies, build confidence, and thrive both personally and academically. My goal is to collaborate with you so you feel supported, empowered, and ready to succeed on your own terms.
I am a clinician with Triangle Cognitive Therapy, a group practice on Long Island specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I see clients in our Westbury, NY Office. To learn more about our practice and approach please visit our website. You can also call or book a consultation directly and request to work with me. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I specialize in trauma, crises, and adjustment. I meet you where you are at, so that we can take the journey together. Using emotion-focused therapy, I want to validate you first, and then focus on the challenges. The story is not always the most important part, in order to feel better emotions first have to be understood. Once we understand the emotions, we work together to create positive differences. I am not in your shoes, however I would like to make the walk more comfortable.
