Our team of therapists pull from a myriad of evidence based treatment modalities to meet the individual needs of our clients. Some of the most well known and effective therapy modalities we offer are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). One of the goals of CBT is to replace negative thoughts and actions with productive behaviors that make the individual feel equipped to overcome any difficult moment. DBT emphasizes individual psychotherapy and group skills training classes to help people learn and use new skills and strategies to develop a life worth living. DBT skills include, skills for mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. We work with our clients to help them recognize how their thinking influences their emotions and behaviors and to establish personalized effective coping mechanisms. Doing so will ultimately help you identify and effectively manage thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in real-world situations.

I work from a trauma-informed perspective, and the foundation of my work is grounded in talk therapy, CBT, and ACT. I offer holistic and complementary interventions that will support your overall well-being. Our work can be supported by incorporating somatic practices, when appropriate for you. Our relationship is central to this work and I hold a safe, non-judgmental, and present-moment space for you. I encourage you to let your guard down, and speak from your most authentic self, and I will do the same, so we can truly connect. My main areas of focus are in personal growth and optimal well-being, spirituality in terms of your search to answer those deeper, more meaningful questions in life, and helping you heal from relational wounds such as childhood neglect, psychological abuse, attachment wounds, and relationship conflict. I believe that anxiety, depression, self-criticism, stress, and some physical symptoms are the result of negative relationship experiences. The stories from our past can color our present moment in ways that no longer serve us. In our work together, I will support you as you learn to build trust in yourself, and in others. I know there is a brighter future for you, one that nourishes your soul and where peace comes naturally. I want to help you find it!
Imagine actually ENJOYING therapy. Imagine looking forward to therapy each week because your therapist "gets" you and works with you in a down-to-earth way to address your goals. Since therapy is an intense process that tackles intense issues, we believe it should also include authenticity (on our part), humor, and flexibility. We love working with college students and are energetic, creative, and hands-on. We'll work together to design a personalized approach to address your specific goals. Our therapists specialize in a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ identities, and health challenges.
If you are seeking to gain deeper insight into your patterns of behavior, strengthen your relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change, you have come to the right place. I work with young adults, adults, and couples with specialized experience in treating anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, OCD, as well as interpersonal and relational challenges. I believe therapy should be personalized rather than “one size fits all.” Therefore, building trust and cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship are central to my approach. Drawing from attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives, I help individuals understand how past experiences shape the present. I also integrate skills from evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, cognitive flexibility, and behavioral change. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Mental Health Studies from New York University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Mount Sinai Services/Elmhurst Hospital, where I received intensive training in providing individual and couples therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, and my post-doctoral training at the Center for Anxiety, a private practice setting where I deepened my expertise in evidence-based treatment. My prior clinical training includes placements at Weill Cornell Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian and the Parnes Clinic, where I specialized in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, trauma, and relational challenges. My doctoral research examined the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health severity, further strengthening my commitment to understanding how individuals adapt and recover in times of crisis. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a supervising psychologist, supporting the professional growth and development of emerging clinicians. Patients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and collaborative, while also appreciating my honesty, directness, and willingness to challenge unhelpful beliefs.I ask thoughtful, meaningful questions designed to foster insight and help individuals better understand their internal experiences. I bring humor and presence into sessions, working alongside patients to identify patterns, build insight, and move toward growth, healing, and their most meaningful goals.
